I was after a winter bike, & was considering the 2015 Specialized Diverge, however this is pretty much the same bike, the only difference is the crankset being FSA not Shimano & a saving of £400 on the Diverge A1 Elite with the same Tiagra 2 x 10 speed gears, & to be honest better colours.
Here is the full spec from Specialized.....

Apparently it weighs approx 9.5kg & comes with pedals although mine will be replaced. I will also be fitting £40 Specialized Plug & Play mudguards.

Elsewhere the cheapest I've seen is £850, some retailers are still selling at £1200. I know it's not for everyone but thought I would share.

I ordered this morning & was advised it would be set up today & delivery will be Thursday (although I've rearranged for Friday).

Obviously there will be no delivery charge if you collect in store. Stores in Barnstable, Exeter or Crediton.

Here is also a list of features per Specialized.....

You can thank the Endurance Road Geometry, shaped seatstays, and FACT carbon fork with vibration-absorbing Zertz, for the Secteur Elite Disc's super-smooth and responsive ride. Perfect for a Gran Fondo or epic weekend ride, the upgraded wheelset, powerful disc brakes, and 10-speed Shimano Tiagra compact drivetrain add efficiency and reliability to any road adventure.

Lightweight, A1 Premium Aluminium, smooth-welded, butted frame features hydroformed, Compliance Plus seatstays for great vertical compliance and a confident ride
Specialized FACT carbon disc fork with Zertz provides predictable steering and smooth handling
AXIS Classic Disc wheels balance weight and strength; fitted with Specialized Espoir Sport 30c tyres for a smooth ride
Specialized Comp shallow drop alloy bar for serious performance; wrapped with non-slip Specialized Roubaix tape for vibration damping
10-speed Shimano Tiagra STI shifters are smooth and precise, offering reliable performance and great value
Supportive Body Geometry Riva Plus Road saddle with Cr-Mo rails is a perfect combination of comfort and efficiency

Have mixed feelings - a really nice frame but mechanical discs and so poor wheels for £700. I like 4600 but I would expect 105 thrown in at this price. Not voted.

Not voting because it is cheapest if this is what you want, but £700 for aluminium frame carbon forks and tiagra is not that good- it is purely because it is specialized.
Admit this has disks but could find this spec for less
A quick Google and Planet X rt-58 is £600

Picked up a spezialized Secteur sport disc last week 2014... £720

Very happy with it

the Boardman CX team could keep up with this easy and would be a better all round bike I reckon. currently very similarly priced too.

I think you are being a biit optimistic
Shimano Hydraulic Road shifters alone start a £399!

Avid BB7s would be more favourable but no big loss

Great Price, Its quite that you see Specialized reduced so much.

Out of curiosity why did you choose it?
Personally I wanted to keep my carbon fibre bike (Canyon Endurace, Ultegra) for the summer & this purely for the winter & $hitty weather.
CX bikes tend to have smaller cranks, with this it has the same as my road bike & as I will be using it on the road its a no brainer, plus it has slightly wider tyres. I spent ages trying to find what I thought was the right bike & at this price I couldnt say no.
Enjoy & ride safe.

I am not being optimistic, I just do not want mechanical discs on my bike. I have not mentioned expectation of getting hydraulic brakes .

Sorry , I mis read your opinion.

Good price for a Specialized though.

I have a 2011 sectuer which has been fantastic, put 1000's of miles on it and done many Euro tours.

very well put together bike. can't comment on the price, mine was 550 back then but bikes seem to have gone up in price with popularity
