It says "3-layer technical fabric" so hopefully it'll not be one of the boil-in-the-bag variety
Looks good, could probably get away with black. Gets a bit chilly on the old electric bike, sometimes have to pedal to keep warm.

I'd lean towards the opposite plus no mention of breathability anywhere
I bought this jacket from original Mclaren store on ebay. At the time it was only £15 with free delivery. Now its £20 still down from £50. Branded and comes in a very handy packable bag + a branded hook key chain for those who have good heavy bunch of keys..

what has the jacket in your ebay link got to do with this biking jacket. their totally different in every way !
this biking jacket is much better quality then your linked ""McLaren Honda Motor Sport Essentials Ultra Light Jacket" the reason being its just a generic waterproof jacket with motor sports logos,
the biking jacket has

3-layer technical fabric including a WindTex layer to keep you warm and comfortable
Lightweight and low volume
Windproof
Waterproof repellant
Mesh inserts under the arms
Soft lining on the inside of the collar
Full length zipper with chin protection
and it has a longer tail to keep your backside dry. if you were a keen mountain biker you would know

anyway this is a good deal for a jacket of this quality at this sill price.
Just bought the yellow one to go with my specialized green bike. Thanks op/
Being honest, most of them around the RRP will be boil in the bag. Pay more for GoreTex or be wet. I'd rather pay this and go easy
I went for the black one and it was delivered yesterday and I wore it on my 40 min commute today.

Very light, comfortable and I didn't boil up inside it so I thought it was very good. Also the size of it when its wrapped up in its carry bag is excellent, its smaller than my glasses case.

Only thing I will say is that if you wear it as soon as you pull it out of its carry case the black one really does look like a bin bag!
Looks a good price but not sure why anyone wants a black jacket for the roads.... Is it not better for drivers to see you. Saw a bloke out today in the rain he was just about invisible in his black jacket

Because black is the most stylish colour according to many. In fact, in the early days of time trialling, riders had to wear black in order to be inconspicuous and not draw attention as TT's were seen as races and therefore illegal on open roads (hence the code names for modern TT courses).

But yeh, style over safety. Though it isn't all that bad on brighter days.

This tells me you need to get your eyesight tested or you weren't paying attention.

Shall we ban all black cars too?
