Totally agree, even if you don't agree it's worth reading just to get a different opinion. I like talking to people who see things differently to me and always keep it civil. Debate is good for both sides of any argument.
It's quite amusing to see how quickly everything seems to get labelled along political ideology. What happened to simply calling it a different opinion? It is this constant labelling, and the vicious trolling that invariably follows, that has made it nearly impossible for many people to actually voice their opinions. Let's not forget that the only people who benefit from this ugliness are the social media platforms who require the traffic. This is the main reason why Facebook refuses to intervene even when blatant lying happens. It's ok to not agree with The Spectator but it serves a balancing purpose by providing a different perspective.
Good if you like the spectator. Good if you don't like the spectator because you're making them lose £8 each time you sign up.
It's an odious magazine.
