Love it! Ordered, cheers

Bought one of these the last time they were on special - a great deal indeed!

ordered one!! heat added :-D

My Labtec Glow mouse just failed me (i've had it for 11 months) and I just e-mailed customer services who were very helpful and are sending me a new one. So just a heads up to anyone in the same position as me:thumbsup:

this is a hot deal though, heat/rep

Sheek-tastic!!!!! Or should that be "geek-tastic"? lol. Better be a decent mouse. Got one bad review about short lead and scroll button sticks down. At a flim, it's worth a gamble.

Rainey!!

ordered nice one HOT HOT HOT !!!!

Who uses Optical mouses still? They are useless as you can't use them on anything but plain flat surfaces, laser mice are the way forward as you can use them on any surface

A few hundred million people I expect. Silly post unless you can find a laser mouse for £5.

Someone who spends all day at their PC has different priorities to the casual user who most likely buy this.

Besides, a serious user would already own a professional grade mouse-mat, making the purchase of a laser mouse over an optical one pretty moot.

But don't most users have stupid picture mouse mats? I've got a polar bear and cub on mine

Looks a good deal.Just ordered.
Not bothered about the short cable as already got extension lead.
Thanks for the post holly 100

I've got that one in work, it's amazing for that price. This deal is OK for £5 delivered, if you aren't in a hurry though I would put a decent mouse like the Logitech in with your next parts order

Well worth the extra £2.78. Cheap, generic optical or Logitech Laser mouse, not really a contest

Might have to cancel the Play order then!
Like the look of the Logitech with that Zoom feature.
Could be very handy.

I'm picturing you using your laser mouse on a giant furry dome, mocking optical users as you deftly click tiny 16 pixel icons.

I'd really agree with you but those laser mice have been known to lance peoples arms off if they fall on their side. Buyer beware.

Optical mice are useless because you can only use them on flat surfaces ?

The mind boggles Where do you think most people use a mouse ?

Hint : It's on a flat surface...

I think you'll find most mouse mats are flat surfaces, and hence the average optical mouse will work perfectly ! Yes, even with a picture !

never in a million years was this £19.99

bought this a month ago for £5.99 from play and its absolute rubbish

buttons need multiple clicks to register and wheelmouse is very unresponsive. Very poor plastic build quality. would probably break into a million bits if dropped

only suitable for desktop pc too as lead would never reach a tower under your desk.

now relegated to the backup drawer

Maybe you had a faulty one?
Hope so, as mine is on it's way!
Couple of decent reviews on Play, so fingers crossed I get an ok one.

either way, it was awfully cheap plasticky rubbish

it'll do as a backup and so went for the ZX1000 laser mouse from novatech for £7.78 delivered. Now that is a true bargain  rep on its way

BTW, I submitted a poor review at play and they never published it. Strange that only my good reviews ever get published ;-)

That is interesting that they skipped the negative and posted the positive. I'd love to see an article about this. Get someone to post equal amounts of negative and positive reviews across all major stores like play, ebuyer, etc. and give us a nice graph on just how reliable the comments are on different sites.

Only by showing them up will they be forced to change and I really like using the comments as an additional source of info about how good/bad something is. but who can you trust?

I have found ebuyer to be very good at publishing both good and bad. Play are very poor at this.

Mine arrived this morning.
First impression was that it looked tacky.
Installed with no problem, and it actually looks better when lit up, if a bit bright..
Responds fine, no problem with wheel.
Left and right clicks a bit loud.
It's ok, but I reckon the ZX1000 would be better.
