Edit those specs it's a eyes sore.
Sorry the one I put up had a weaker graphics card.

I didn’t read your description properly and the graphics Card is not in your title.

I had to look for a pc for a friend. I’d recommend this but it does not come with windows 10 and they where insistent on it coming with it preinstalled.

This maybe going cold due to you missing the 590 8gb graphics card out of your title.

Do you just mean edit the layout I wrote it or do you mean the specs rubbish? Hoping I haven't ordered a terrible pc here!

It was late at night and I was nodding off so quickly copied and pasted the specs but I've organised it a bit better now hopefully.

It's an -ok- PC. For the money you could definitely get better - The motherboard is dated now. The graphics card is okay only really for 1080p gaming but that's alright if that's all you're planning ..the PSU on these PreBuilds are always bad and I would recommend exchanging quickly.

I've just built better for my little brother for xmas for about £150 less although thanks to some black friday deals it would probably be unlikely to replicate that now.

So what specs have you built one too. I've built a couple in the past so if i can still get the bits for a better price than this for a better pc I'd be all over that and quickly cancel this.

Ryzen 5 2600x, B450 Max, GTX 1660, 16GB Vengeance LPX, Corsair TX550M PSU, RE75 Case, 480GB Kingston SSD (He doesn't need much room).
Got an EVO KB+M in there too.

Nice one. I'll hunt around and see what price i can get something at that level and weigh up my options

Couldn't find the case on there but that's pretty much the build.
I got everything lower than the prices specified though. I actually got the PSU for £40 from Amazon warehouse lol.

Worth noting btw that the GTX1660 and the RX590 bench about the same.. It's just less hassle to go Nvidia and ignore all the driver issues that come with AMD.

Ryzen, the worse cpu for gaming at higher refresh rate.

Ryzen, the worse cpu for gaming at higher refresh rate.

It's for his son. I doubt he's playing anything above 1080p.
So can the Ryzen/graphic card combo here handle high refresh at 1080?

In simple terms, yes, but at high/ultra settings this card probably wont be reaching very high frames due to it's age anyway. What the other guy is talking about is single core performance vs Multi core which of course intel wins due to better performing individual cores. Ryzen is fine for gaming and in terms of price to performance Ryzen wins out by a mile.
This is not bad and has 3 years warranty

8gb ram is where itll be hitting the mark on most modern games,...... and then the GPU if ur running it in higher settings then it should........ are u on a single stick or dual ram atm? what ever uve got..... what the same amount again into it. and then upgrade that gpu to atleast a RX590 fat boy...... total investment £200.......... 162 for the gpu, £30ish for the ram.... - sell ur old GPU for like £50.................

give it a test,...... 1200 is fine for gaming....... if he is doing anything extra consider the 6core systems... 1600 AF new one £86../90..... then sell ur old CPU for £40 on ebay.
Wow thank u so much for your response, I’m so bad with computers. I watch so many videos on how to upgrade pc ect but so much to take in. Too scared to even open it. Ok I have kinda idea what u said so upgrade the the gpu that’s the graphic card right? Sorry I’m sound dumb but I really want to upgrade my sons pc not sure how to.
