£40 for 5% off for me.

Disappointing yet again. American Express need to stop shafting their loyal customers.

Good find though OP.

Expect others may report 7% off £30 spend as well possibly

Probably fairly well correlated to how much you use your card! Those who use it more seem to get worse offers.

That post is for a 5% off £40 spend offer
Only the 5% on mine mayb because the last 10% one I bought a huge amount of gift cards.

Only 5% off a £40 spend, but I did have the 10% off the last time.

I bought quite a few Morrison's vouchers and used for petro purchases. A nice way to save on your fuel.
7% off for £30 for me. Better than a poke in the eye, especially if I can combine it with the email offers I get from them. Also, if you do home delivery they will buy back ANY plastic bags you want to recycle for 5p each, up to a max per delivery of £5 off your shopping. I thought this was brill!
What kind of Amex card do you have to have in order to get these offers? (Sorry, I’m new)
NOTHING showing for me ....

However, still 10% showing on Airtime Rewards for me with Morrisons - just have to wait a looooooong time for payout

That's interesting - always assumed that their gift vouchers couldn't be used in their petrol kiosks, obviously missing a trick there.
5% off £40 for me,which isn't too shabby as I spend about £400 a month there on my parents shopping. Better than nowt.

I doubted it to be honest and thought it had been stopped.
But, a great way of saving 10% off future fuel purchases.
I did get questioned the other week when paying, but confirmed quickly.

Yeah. I pay mine off in full without fail, so I’m probably not profitable enough for them!
Does anyone know what giftcards they sell?, the selection seems to vary a lot between the supermarkets
I pay my card off in full but still get the Amex offers though mine is also 5% off a £40 spend
i used to be able to get gift vouchers via work at 5% off and only used them in the petrol station - without any issues Morrison's stopped them selling vouchers so I stopped shopping there - we have an Aldi opposite Morrisons so it is cheaper to go there and elsewhere to foll up with fuel Morrison's loss - our gain

It's a bit harsh. I spend a lot on my amex and only got the 5%,but I have had many excellent offers including combining with a Google deal before Christmas to save about £300 on some pixel phones. With the air miles I get off my gold card withe the signup bonus its been excellent although its a lot harder now to gey a sign up deal

Tonnes actually - varies from shop to shop - but in the past I have picked up Amazon, John Lewis, Primark. Debenhams, Argos, GooglePlay, iTunes cards from there and had cashback paid fine.
Just take out extra cards and it increases your chances of getting the offer you want. Both the 5% and 10% offers show for me but typically the 10% is against the card I hardly use.

Agreed, my first Amex was the cashback card with £25 a year fee, then recently I saw they did a cashback card with no fee, so I went for this intending on cancelling the fee card - however I now have both in order to maximize offers and have the 5% on one card and the 10% on another.

How does this work?

How does this work?

Simply buy the Morrison's gift vouchers in store and use to pay for your fuel.
Use the gift vouchers like cash.
10% off £20 on one of my cards. No 5% on £40 on any others although that is normally what I get. Both of my parents got 5% for £40 spend this time round.
Just checked - 10% for £20 on my platinum card.
5% off £40 which is my BA AMEX card. I get AVIOS with this as well .. 🚀
5% off £40 for me, disappointing as I always have had 10% off previously.
Halifax giving 15% off with current account
I have 5% off £40 from my Platinum cashback cc (fee free) and 10% off £20 from my rewards cc.
A bit weird but this didn't show up at first, but checking my Offers just now and it shows the Morrisons "Spend £20, get 10% back" offer.

Perhaps they roll it out on a staggered basis? If it doesn't show a specific offer, no harm in checking after a few days...

They make loads of money.. amex transaction fees to shops are far high than visa and MasterCard so they still make good money

I’m due over £400 in cashback with 3 months to go so god knows how much I’ve spent in last 9 months. I’ve never paid them a penny in interest

I get all the offers
