Nice, heated. Sadly the best my 3 cards have to offer is "Spend £29.99 or more, get £10 back" at Hello Fresh

All good thanks. Fingers crossed for those offers. I'm also hoping Amex can do something extra special this year for small business out there when/as we start to get back up and running.

I have a feeling they will run an extra promotion this year with better returns, but lets see what they come up with.
You might want to put ... at Now TV... into the title.

It is now.
Nope, nothing showing up on my platinum account... Must be account specific.

Interesting that this comes just after NowTV have given £1 per month Ent Pass deals to just about every existing subscriber, so to qualify you'd have to take out another additional pass ... which I'm sure is the idea.
On my card but can't decide whether it is a deal - seems to be cheaper to buy codes from amazon ebay etc
On my BA Amex blue
Hope none of you guys ever need to log a transaction dispute with AMEX. Shocking credit card provider, offer no credit protection whatsoever in my experience

On the contrary, they have been excellent for me recently. Holiday cancelled because of... Well anyway, car hire silly sallying over refund, sorted by Amex. Dinner reservation, ditto. Flights with Royal Jordanian through a slightly iffy provider, no problem.

I’ve got over 5K sat in travel agent accounts following a cancelled Easter holiday all paid for on AMEX. When phoning in to raise a transaction dispute I was simply told in no uncertain terms that they are unable to over rule merchant terms and conditions and said I had to resolve through the merchant or my travel insurance (neither of which are either be cooperative...funny that!)

Makes a mockery of section 75 which states that your credit card provider is ‘jointly liable if something goes wrong with a product or service you’ve paid for by credit card’

Odd. Try doing it online instead. It comes off the balance within a couple of days while they investigate.
Halifax had 30% back as cash for first thing bought on my account other day. Might be worth a look as if you’re buying year movie pass or whatever might make a bigger saving

Just to give another opinion, easiest company to dispute a transaction, awesome customer service, best credit card company in my experience!

Would you be so kind as to advise what method of communication you have used with them to raise a dispute in the past? I used the good old fashioned telephone and was given short shrift by a very abrupt woman on their customer service desk who couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough
I've recently used online to raise a dispute, the easiest way as you can do this directly from the transaction, I spoke to them over the phone about the same transaction a couple of days later as it was easier to talk to them to provide more information and also used online chat as I needed to talk to them about a credit refund on one of my accounts.

At all times I was dealt with courteously and was never rushed, sorry you had such a bad experience.

Intriguing. My experience: logged a claim in about 3 minutes via the website in my account. The next day, amount removed from my due. 2 days letter I have a letter in the post saying they've credited me and will deal with the merchant, and will contact me if they need anything.

Couldn't have been less painful or more reassuring.

That sounds great but what online option did you use? In my account there is no option anyway about raising a transaction dispute online. Nothing under Support 24/7, or Card Services......hence why I had no other option but to phone them

Open your transaction history. click on a transaction. click on the "Have a question about this charge?" link that appears when you expand a transaction. Go through the questionnaire, submit.

Thanks. I've done that and submitted my query. Having submitted I've gone in to confirm the dispute has been raised......dispute status within 5 minutes of submission CLOSED with no explanation or response of any kind. One of the questions asks whether the dispute is COVID 19 related (which I selected yes to).....so I can only assume they are routing all COVID related disputes directly to CLOSED status.

Not the case for me. The dinner reservation I had was cancelled because of this and it's still showing as pending for me. It surprises me to hear your experience. AMEX have been generally excellent for me for years.

Best of luck with it all though.
On my Cashback card as well.
I don’t have this. Nor have I had a decent offer in about 5 weeks. Is it just me or is Amex going downhill with offers - are they the new Wuntu of the card/offers market?
