That finished yesterday, looks like this is another version, same saving though but guess it will give you more options to spend the reward
What if I spend £50 worth of nectar points?
I much prefer this. Those vouchers expire so quickly do you have to remember to use them straight away

Then you'd have 10k less Nectar points... The T&C's don't say so I doubt redemptions would be included in this offer.
How much is the 2000 points worth in pounds?

yes but save until november for double up - so £10 or £20

Another maybe bonus in 30 days. They should be stopped from doing this and made to apply points at the point of sale.

Most items you could probably refund and buy back (so it's pretty dumb if you say forgot to apply something at a store and they refuse to help you when you bring it up say 2 mins after going through the transaction), but a gas hob may be a bit annoying to do, so probably not.
So basically 10% off...

Kindest regards
This works when bought Argos gift card?
TIA
Worth bearing mind you can use the point earned during the nectar double up this autumn so it actually could be worth 20%

That wasn't what I was suggesting. They didn't even get Nectar points, I was suggesting to refund it then rebuying it to get the Nectar points.

Umm.. if anything it just limits your options to spending on places that will accept nectar points If I saved £5 on a £50 spend and that's an extra £5 in my back account, I could spend it anywhere...

Ummm, the previous £5 of a £50 spend was an Argos voucher limited to spend at Argos, so having nectar points instead opens up many more places to spend even if it's not everywhere
Interesting. As I understand it, until now only Argos purchases you have delivered earn you nectar points. The terms here only exclude 'reserve & pay in store'.

Lets hope this might presage all Argos buys getting you nectar in future. They're all part of Sainsbury's plc now.
Is this limited to £100, or will you get 4000 points for a £200 spend. Or can you get the bonus points in multiple orders? (i.e. Two orders of £100)

Nectar points will be deducted from your nectar card balance and if your nectar card balance is zero it will go into the minus.
Oh the days when I had a company car doing 350 miles a day and a fuel card and I used to get esso, BP etc points and you actually got things decent, without having to spend 20k and get a fiver off something, personally I keep my money in my pocket nowadays, not even worth bothering with if I'm honest these points cards,as there basically giving you nothing compared to what your spending, but everyone to there own I guess.
I have a couple of £5 off a £40 spend vouchers if anyone wants them.
There are codes so it can be used online or in-store but don't know if you would need the actual voucher to be able to use it in store...

What if I register new nectar card then purchase something to get 5 pounds on my nectar then use my balance from nectar and do return. Balance on nectar go to minus but I don't care as it will be just "temporary" card ? So I can do it over and over again with new nectar card ?

I was thinking of doing this too but if points take 30 days to add then it will take too long to return.
