Used to love watching the old animated series, awesome that. Anyone remember that?

Oh by the way, great find andy. heat added.

We have this - picked it up at Costco for about £4

£1.99 is an excellent price for it. Just don't expect it to be like the old series.

Nice find, my son loves spiderman...

Anyone know if this really is the old animated series from the 80's?

State of the art CG imaging.

I think it's the late 1990's with the good rock music track and a metallic voice repeating spider-man, spider-man, spider-man.

Also, not sure if the OP slightly mistyped or if its cown down further in price but my copy ordered 20 seconds ago, cost £1.93...

That 6p makes all the difference!

Thanks again!

Going by the boxart, I think it's the shorty lived MTV Spider-Man series, rather than the late 1990's series, or the new Spectacular Spider-Man series (which is excellent).

Unfortunately, I would rate this series probably the weakest of the three, but for under £2.00 it's still worth it if you like Spidey & Co.

No this isn't the 90's version which I think is the superior version of all the Spider-Man animated shows (yes and that includes the classic 80s cartoons), this is the latest 3D CGI shown only a few years ago which was quite poor imo.

No it's the later (2003) CGI animated, dance music soudtrack darker version

We all know Spiderman and his Amazing Friends was the best Spidey animated series!! I do however quite like this MTV version and the new Spectacular Spiderman show is brilliant! Marvel seem to be on a roll with cartoons at the moment, both Wolverine and the X-men and Iron Man have great shows at the moment plus the new Black Panther cartoon which is being aired in Australia is awesome!!

Although i loved the 90s cartoon on live and kicking, tbh this version beats it.

Very good plotlines. The cg artwork is superb and tastefully stylised. I bought this on a whim a few years ago and must have watched it 3 or 4 times! There are few discs that inspire a 38 year old to rewatch with such frequency!

Iwas so disappointed to discover that the 2nd season was cancelled after I watched it - I'm always a kiss of death!

Buy it!

£3.85 for me! Shame I would have bought that!
