OK, bare with me... first post in a long time and officially this does combine 2 deals which in my eyes just makes it more amazing!!! :-)

So, we all know about the Sky Store free film of Spider-Man (DVD sent in the post and can watch online via NowTV, Sky Q or Online) HOWEVER, it got delivered about 5 days afterwards with a £2 free credit voucher... not bad! Combine this with the offer NESTLE are doing at the moment and things get better. If you buy 4x packs of £1 KitKat bites (and also others across the range however Tesco had these at £1 each), you then can redeem £5.99 worth of vouchers to use in the Sky store.

So...
Spider-Man Movie - Free
£2 Voucher for Sky Store - Included with Free film above
£5.99 credit for Sky Store - £4s Worth of chocolate (Separately at £1 each)
Choice of £7.99 film/2x Rentals - Free (Or top up to buy a newer film)

TOTAL - £3.60
(DVD £4, £7.99 Credit, £4s Choc = £15.99 Separately

There are currently 25x Films at £5.99 which come with a DVD in the post, SD rental starts from £3.49 although, just as a heads up, more recent films are around £10.99 and up however there are also many from £7.99 with the ability to watch online and get one in the post! Either way you use the credit it works out well for the free film and the chocolate with a decent amount of credit for your next film AND if you really want to stock up on chocolate I guess you can keep going and buy another 4x bags!?!

Update 6/10/17 -
Tesco is currently selling the packs for £1.80 for 2, meaning outlay now £3.60 instead of £4 as originally! :-)

That's definitely true however a new release at Tesco or any retailers including Amazon can start from over £15 for a DVD so at least this offer gets you £7.99 off! :-)

I have to disagree, most stores are £12+ for Blu-ray, which normally includes a HD digital down load.

Sky is a rip-off when you pay £13 for a DVD with a HD digital version. I would rather pay for Blu-ray.
I still haven’t received my Spider-Man and i ordered it on the day the deal went live

Mine arrived yesterday along with the £2 voucher. I love a good freebie!
If anyone has a spare £2 voucher with their Spider-man dvd that they don't intend to use I would appreciate it if you could PM me.

Sorry, just to reiterate... I shouldn't have said ANY retailers, my point was clearly that Tesco and Amazon DO have new releases on DVD that are over £15... I checked this before posting that comment. I also didn't mention Bluray as I cannot compare against Bluray as Sky Store doesn't stream in 4k. In many cases Bluray would be cheaper compared to the DVD releases, again something I'm not denying, however just like I mentioned that's why I didn't compare Sky store to Bluray.

Peter, I also am not sure what you add to the group here... you're comparing going out to buy a Bluray with the option of watching online Vs Via the Sky Store & watching it on NowTV and Sky, no one here has compared the offer to 4k or mentioned that you can buy Blurays on Sky store as you can't, Blurays would obviously need a Bluray player rather than a DVD or watching online/streaming via a Sky service and I mentioned that Tesco and Amazon have some DVDs over £15 which is exactly right... they do. Either way, maybe I took the bait and rambled too much.... The offer is as good as you make it! :-)
the nestle chocolates are only doing the deal at tesco tho right? might need to add that to the title

My comment, was not to start an argument.

I have bought from Sky store. Just usually with a deal, as £13.99 for a DVD is a rip off in todays market. Please read up on the formats you have quoted, DVD = SD (Standard definition) Blu-Ray = HD (High Definition) or 1080p. 4K is another format altogether and is not something I mentioned.

Prices on Amazon market place for example, Alien Covenant Blu-ray £12.75. The DVD £9.99 due to it being inferior picture quality.

One more thing, Sky broadcasts in 1080i Not to 1080p.

ps.

I didn't vote cold, I just believe like many 10's of thousands, that Sky should supply the Blu-ray and not DVD.

No, I bought 4 bags of mint Aero bubbles from Morrisons for £1 each last night with the offer on. They also had all the varieties of Kit Kat bites and I think some others too.
4 bags of sweets and sky store credit £5.99! Sky store rentals £5.49 for a SD rental! Cold
I am currently collecting gifts to be donated to children who wouldn't otherwise receive gifts at Christmas and wondered if anyone had sky vouchers from the spiderman dvd that they wont use?
I have 2 spiderman dvds and £4 in codes. If I could collect another couple of codes then I could add another dvd to the collection.
50 Shades Darker is £7.99 to buy and keep!
Just need a deal for Kleenex now
Found one for £7.99...

Super Furry Animals!

Agree, who buys dvds still
One Stop have the promo packs of chocolates 2 for £2. Deal started today so should be on for approximately 3 weeks. They're advertising the Nestle promotion in my local store window; so should have sufficient stock.

Cheers OP, heat added, never thought of combining with the Spiderman voucher!

Sweets are now £1.80 for 2 in Tesco. Bought 8 of them for £7.20. Credit to op for making me spot this deal
This is a good deal. I'm a Blu-Ray, 4K UHD fan boy but my little lad loves Disney Cars. So with this deal I can get Cars 3 at a very good price. We can then download the HD version on to each sky box in the house so he can watch it easily when he wants and then the DVD copy can go in the car for him to watch on his Nextbase. So in this particular instance this is a good deal as it ticks all my boxes and I'm not left with a DVD which won't get used. Cheers OP.
Hi all, just a heads up. I ordered Cars 3 from my sky box. It's allocated a charge against my SKy account for £13.99 but not used my voucher. I e-mailed them asking why the voucher/credit has not been used and I've been advised that the credit only works for purchases made via sky store online and not against purchases made via your sky box....

Thanks Sky, had my pants down again........
