No Man's Sky says hello.

So does AC:Unity, Arkham Knight, Battlefront 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Sim City, , Homefront: The Revolution and a ridiculous number of other games throughout history.

Don't worry about those though, just slam that motherflipping pre-order button without even thinking about it. Doing exactly what the game companies want is the only way to avoid being a sheep after all

Agreed, I’ve never been disappointed by insomniac, whether it be ratchet and clank or sunset overdrive, they’ve always delivered for me. I have a feeling this will be the best Spider-Man game ever so I’m more than confident it will be a great game.

Comes with the Pre-Order DLC and it's from SImplyGames who are a very reputable online retailer
Good-ish price relative to elsewhere, but I'm not yet convinced that the game will be any good - waiting for reviews

i wish I had your patience and common sense
I'd possibly put the discount code in the relevant box, and possibly a little mention of it in the description.
Not working for me, I just get "This code can't be applied to your order.". Tried setting my registration address to one in Alaska.
Been using SimplyGames for years and never had an issue. Really hoping this is a good decent Spidey game..

Not really. If the game is a buggy mess at launch, then waiting for a review is pretty smart. Some things are opinion, some are things that almost everyone would agree on.

If it’s buggy chances are it will be fixed. If I’m interested in a game I’d rather buy it and play it than watch a review. I’ve not watched or read a review since the PS2

It's still worth waiting. The game is getting glowing previews and does look great, but there's really no benefit to pre-ordering a game. Signed up to Boomerang last week, so my days of pre-orders are behind me

Yeah, not sure why it took me so long. For the past year or so I've only really been playing single player games, and typically selling them when I'm done as I rarely replay games. Usually rush through them, so I can sell them for as little loss (sometimes even a slight profit) as possible. I'll still pick up PC games from Humble Bundles and cheap deals, but really don't see the point buying console games unless it's something I really enjoy and want to own.

I pre-ordered no mans sky on PS4. I didn’t mind it. I also pre-ordered it again on the Xbox one because I felt the updates were worth playing through again. At the end of the day it’s only money, we have to spend it somehow. While I agree not all games are worth pre-ordering, if it’s a game you’re interested in it’s worth playing without reading reviews. I’ve played and enjoyed many games that have had an average score of 6 or lower. If I’d read reviews for those games I wouldn’t have played them and I’d have missed out.

You guys recommend it then? I'm in the same boat, mostly play single player stuff. Sometimes rush it to resell without too much loss, sometimes buy a game and it sits on the shelf for ages and is worth nothing by completion (and not something I'd replay). I also have a pretty decent backlog atm but as I say that, I'm keen to get Spidey. Is the service delivering for you? Are you on priority and getting new games quick etc?

I signed up on Friday, and Detroit arrived on Saturday morning. Signed up to the priority 2 package, as there's quite a few big releases coming up within a few weeks of each other. Think when the new releases slow down for a but I'll drop down to the unlimited 2 package. Limited experience with them so far, but if they can get new releases out to me within a couple of days of launch, I'll happily stick with them (Got We happy Few on the rental list and it's out this Friday, so will see how they do with that). Think they do a free trial, but you're limited to renting stuff older than 3 months while your on it (I didn't get the trial because I already had an account with them from buying stuff)

Well I hope you enjoy using them. They are really good if anything goes wrong, just make sure you get proof of postage when you send the games back.

It is hard to get new releases within the first couple of weeks. People time their returns so that their next send out coincides with the new release which I have never done successfully. I only got Vampyr two weeks ago and God of War about a week after launch (but I was shunted up the waiting list by for that). Not to be pessmistic, but I doubt you'll get many new releases within a couple of days of launch.
