From one of the most celebrated filmmakers in the history of animated cinema comes the most acclaimed film of 2002, winner of the Golden Bear at Berlin and the 2003 Oscar for Best Animated Film and the highest grossing film in Japanese cinema history. Hayao Miyazaki's latest triumph, filled with astonishing animation and epic adventure, is a dazzling masterpiece for all ages.

A fantasy adventure film unlike any other, Spirited Away tells the story of Chihiro, a capricious, headstrong, 10 year-old girl, who believes the entire universe should submit to her every whim. Whilst en-route to a new home, Chihiro and her parents stumble on a mysterious cul-de-sac. Unwittingly they have strayed into the Land of the Spirits, a world inhabited by ancient gods and magical beings, ruled over by a demonic sorceress Yubaba. Finding an ally in the enigmatic Haku, he explains that in order to fight annihilation, to survive this strange and perilous new world, Chihiro must make herself useful, she must work. Chihiro renounces her laziness, her humanity, her reason, her memories, even her name...

Im still looking for those on the cheap.

Laputa Castle In The Sky - £7.67 at TheHut
My Neighbour Totoro - £7.97 at TheHut

Buy both at the same time and use the 10% discount code "PVMUSIC" (minimum spend is £15) and get both for £14.07 - just over £7 each.

7% Quidco would take that down to £13.09, so just over £6.50 each!

the hut has them for 7.97 and 7.67

plus i think theres a 10% off coupon over 15.00 spend

so = £14.08 for the two

(not sure if these will go as cheap as spirited away as they were not as BIG so assume shops have stock of spirited away if you see what i mean)

you beat me to it

and i forgot quidco

Thanks - to both of you's

most of the Ghibli films can be bought for £4.99-£9.99 or more on play.com

nice prices, Porco Rosso is my favourite one - I love Miyazaki films

The best commendation I can make for this film is my 2 kids (4 and 8 when they watched it) sat and did not take their eyes offthe screen for the length of the movie.

It is truely a fascinating fairy tale and at this price an absolute bargain.

thanks!
