Splinter Cell HD Collection - £23.99 or 7.99 Each @ PSN - Cheaper with PS PLUS!

The shiny HD revamp of the Splinter Cell Trilogy will be available via the PlayStation store tomorrow, a whole month before the physical discs arrive in shops. That is, if there are any shops left in the country in a month’s time.

The disc version of the trilogy has an RRP of £29.99 and the PSN version will cost… less? Yes, it’s true, someone has been listening to our constant moaning about the PSN pricing and the download version will cost £23.99 for a digital bundle, or £7.99 each, with discounts for PS Plus owners.

Play.com are selling the disc for £24.98 and Shopto.net have the disc at £23.86, so with the PS+ discount there’s a good chance that the PSN will be the cheapest place to pick up the game.

LOL I expected it to be voted cold....where else can you get these games individually, remastered in HD for £7.99 each?!
Good deal if you wanted a specific title
Heated, despite not being interested in these - at least they are pricing them up the right way. If only they had done this with the Sly Trilogy

Any news on the PS+ discounts?

No official pricing has even been released about these. It's all speculation. I would expect £10 each maximum.

I'll probably just be getting the first one.

The price is confirmed in the link that Fanpages provided.
It looks kindof fun so I might pick up the first title and see whats what, plus I get another 20% off so not too shabby.

Voted hot.
Cheaper than Black Ops map packs lol
been waiting for this since the march release date .....first March then April then June then July and now September at this rate i think they will delay the retail release so this gets heat as its my back up plan to buy from psn if this never actually gets a retail release thanks op
Has to be cold. If this is the standard PSN price, and most retailers are listing it as the same price, it means its standard price, therefore not a deal.

PS+ price cannot be considered a deal either as many people do not have a PS+ sub, and it costs £40 a year.

Just because its below RRP doesnt mean its a deal either btw. If that was the case, then a typical £39.99 game would be considered a deal as the RRP is generally £49.99.
great thanks might get one
Not voting either way, but all these remastered packs dive in price within a few weeks anyway.Come October time when all the big Xmas releases start coming out, this is gonna be £10-12 tops just the same as all the others.
You are just best waiting for the Bluray version because that will guaranteed drop very, very quickly to around £10 within a month due to the PSN release.

Chaos Theory is recognised to be the best one of the lot. But the other two are very, very good. Chaos Theory succeeds because it builds upon was Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow did first.
