First post so I hope this will help someone without upsetting anyone.

Having just booked two Centre Parcs (thanks for the tips HUKD) trips I set out to find a bike trailer and found this. Buying this should work out cheaper than hiring something similar for 4 days.

The Spokey Joe cycle trailer is tool-free and fast-fitting, capable of towing up to 100lb. It has seating for 2 children with room for luggage behind the seats. Made from 420 denier PU-coated material and a tough steel frame, this cycle trailer has quick-release wheels and a universal chain stay hitch that fits most bicycles. This Spokey Joe cycle trailer includes a 5-point retention safety harness, waterproof sun or rain cover with a window, safety flap and zipped front for easy cleaning.

Next day delivery available if ordered before midday in most areas or store pick up.

Currently double club card points too.

Not aware of any add on/side deals but if there please let me know.

Not sure of instore options.

For comparison this is currently £100 in Mothercare and £70 in Wilkinsons.

This is a cracking deal in my opinion - I got a similar one a year or so ago for about £60 and i thought that was an amazing deal then.

Nice one. My wee girl thinks its ace. (also got one of these hook on bikes which she loves)

Also handy for taking grandma for a hike... :?

We had one of these for about a year or so. If you use it frequently it will soon show wear and tear but for occasional use, they're fine.......but to be honest you kids will outgrow them before they get too bad.

£50 is a good deal.

i bought one a few weeks ago, not sure of stock levels at the min but we got one different to the one in the pic
it is a more expensive version but sent to you at same price
it comes with a small wheel that you can attach to the hitch and a handle bar so you dont actually have to use a bike if you dont want to

collecting mine on Tuesday! a total bargain. thnx

Good price, paid £99 about 4 years ago in Halfords (and that was reduced from £129). Sold it on ebay last spring for £45!!

Well worth it if you cycle a lot, kids love it......mine said they felt like royalty in a carriage!

Also good for a bit of shopping!

Thankyou OP, we have just ordered one for our 2 children fantastic price for anyone else ordering you should be able to get about 3% through quidco aswell

Does it fold flat when not in use?

"this cycle trailer has quick-release wheels!"

That is a good start!:-D

Good deal and a lovely addition for a family day out on the bike (+ it provides me with a bit more of a workout)

Really great trailer, folds down very easily (bit like an old fashioned pram hood) and easily fits in your car boot! Well worth spending a bit more on the version with the third wheel tho so you can use it as a double pram:)

Hi we got one of these for going to center parcs too, the kids loved it, When we got to center parcs we found that it was £37 pounds to hire one for mon to fri plus you had to hire one of there bikes at £22 so total of £59 (they wont let you use your own bike) plus bike locks if you dont have any which are another £2.50 each, so is cheaper to buy one. Good find

great just bought one thank you

Great thanx, just ordered one. Bargain :w00t:

Have to say that pleases me, these put the fear of god in me, this is the equivalent of letting your child experience the hazards of road traffic accidents with no protection whatsoever!

Mine always wear helmets when they're in the trailer and we live in a very quiet town. Would I use it in busy traffic with my kids in it? No way !

Good deal though. With two kids in the back of it, you only need to cycle up a steep hill once a day and you've burnt off enough calories to have a big kebab at night and not feel guilty !!

I don't think helmets will make any difference, a truck would just think he had hit a pothole running over this item with kids in!

Well you could say the same about cyclists not being safe. I used to live in Oxford and cycled every day for about 7 years and didn't think much of it. I now live in a busier town and wouldn't dare cycle to work - 9 out of 10 drivers don't care about other car drivers, let alone cyclists (I drive every day now!) So there's no way I'd cycle around with my kids in the back of this.

HOWEVER, I was going to buy one (now out of stock) for taking them around the parks near me and for holidays. Great exercise! And if I lived in a quiet place without much traffic, I'd be fairly happy to cart the kids around in it.
