Got one of these myself. Cost 150 quid. Kids love it - you can fit 2 in at once.

The Spokey Joe child trailer will seat 2 children with a luggage area behind the seats. 5 point safety harness and universal chain stay hitch that fits most bicycles.

i have sold these at my work, and they are a great trailer. i plan to get one once my lil girl gets a bit bigger so i can take her out.
voted hot!

I have the Halfords version of this trailer.

I can confirm that the kids love it and contrary to my wife's concerns are pretty safe, depending where you use it I suppose.

I've got one of these too, attaches really easily and folds flat, I paid much more than this for mine too!

I've always thought they seemed a bit dangerous - I imagine somebody crashing into it in a car

I bought one of these last tuesday on ebay for £60 but mine has a detachable handlebar and front wheel so when you detach the trailer from your bike, you can push it around like a stroller. This is a very good high street price though as I believe the rrp is around £120. Kids love them aswell! Just wish they made bigger ones so I can get dragged around all day.

Great bargain and worth the money. I had one of the Halfords one and my lazy kids loved it. Faster dad, faster they would shout whilst eating the picnic.

Oh, it's a donkeys life.

do you think 2 small dogs would fit in? with seat belts?
(pugs)

I would not use these on the road, I work as a fireman and cutting people out of cars is my specialism and a lorry would run over this without even noticing it

I saw one of these for the first time on Saturday, a man cycling with two children in the back who seemed to be enjoying the ride – Are these something new or have they always been around?

Who in their right mind cycles on the road? :whistling:

Fully grown, free thinking adults fine, but to take chlidren onto the open road, in what must have the crash protection of a cardboard box, is in my mind insanity!

I agree, I only use mine on quiet back roads and cycle paths

I saw one of these being cycled through Peckham/Elephant. Complete madness..... So many dangerous, unlicensed, uninsured drivers around there.

I don't use mine on the road I use the cycle paths...I think they are great...depends where you live on how safe they are...If you live in the city centre and have only roads then yes think again but I use cycle paths and car free places..good price for this one

Is this just online or in store as well....................an extra tenner delivery pushes the price up a bit

Totally agree with the safety concerns - my heart skips a beat every time I see one of these being taken along a busy road - madness I reckon

yeh b sane about them man!!!

they have them at center parcs (man i wish my parents could take me there)
and there quite popular - but then if u have kids under 15 or so cycling, restaurants and the massive pools r lyk the point of it

This is probably a clearance item - hence the low price. Normal price for 2 child trailers is around the £80 mark....

I saw few mums on the road, doing u-turns, and cycling during busy traffic times. Twice saw children that did not have helmet, that were inside trailer.
How parents can be so irresponsible. Same applies to car seats.

THINK!!! CARE! It's your child we talking about.

I have 2 little one and would not put them in this madness trailer.
I recently broken my wrist because bicycle failed (paid £40 from tesco). Would not imagine if had my child in it.

If you want to travel with your child buy something like this:

Unfortunatly thats what happend to a parent and child near where I live a few years back (They were both killed).

Used on a road and was run into/over after a bend. Road was a national speed limit (60mph).

I too would never use on a public highway.

Absolute madness, maybe for use in holiday resorts etc but thats about it! Please tell me no-one goes on the roads with these????
