The SportsDAB II Roberts' second generation handheld DAB. More versatile than ever the SportsDAB now features a built in speaker and headphone socket so you can use it on the move, at home, in the garden or in the office. There are two aerials now, a built in telescopic one for stationary use and the headphones double as the aerial for use out and about.

With a stylish black finish and blue backlit display, the SportsDAB looks the part too. The built in rechargeable battery ensures you are always ready to listen to your favourite programme or catch the commentary for the big match.

The SportsDAB is the 'must have' for any discerning sports fan and is one of the smallest on the market.

NOTE: This is selling for £67.01 at Amazon.co.uk, so seems like a relatively good deal for a decent brand of radio.

DAB radios are still unreliable, reception still disappears if you're near electricals, on a train, bus etc
Sound never strong enough. Reasonable deal, but still DABs are WAAAAY too expensive.

This is a very good radio and I have had several portable DAB's and this is by far the best. Nice option that it has a speaker to play out of. Doesn't blast out obviously but enough for a normal sized room etc.
I pick up good reception without even having the aerial up. Now I know that could be due to the reception in my area but I couldn't say similar of others I have had.
The FM option is handy also.

Doesn't hammer the batteries (that are built in rechargeable which could be classed as a negative) that usual DAB radios do also.

I thought about buying this DAB radio a while back..... but then i read reviews that said you cannot change the lithium battery when it fails. Even Roberts admit it cannot be changed.
The world of DAB radios's is plagued with one problem after another.
