It's good but on ebay, it's already £24.95.

I use the Horizon (Italia), and it’s got a decent amount of padding around the sides and is a great fit, but isn’t comfortable on the inside top, despite appearing to have a reasonable amount of padding there also. It’s more the discomfort from the top that makes me want to change than the wind noise in all honesty.
I've the K3, same shape bit cheaper shell and you're right about the wind noise. Really good fit on my head though and the ventilation is great. ... Oh and the internal visor isn't dark enough
Bikers are Grand, Try Cyclists traveling at 5mph on backroads
Can't stand trolls, think they own the forum.
Good deal if it fits you but personally i wouldn't have an AGV lid near me, they've came off in too many accident's i know of.
After 30-odd years of riding in London I completely agree with this. Most car drivers are looking for spaces in traffic and the motorbike in that space rarely registers as they glance around. Look up saccadic blanking.
Why do they never sell XXXL :(
terrible idea to buy a helmet without trying on lots of different ones to check you get one with the best fit. the most expensive and fancy helmet in the world that fits badly will almost certainly give worse protection than a cheap one which fits perfectly (assuming both have the required crash test ratings).
I bought one of these (with pink graphics) for my GF- she loves it - and also fitted the sena 10upad which replaces the lower cheek pads to integrate bluetooth very discretely.
After many years as a road death investigator in London I am strongly of the opinion that car driver's don't see bikes because they are looking for cars when they pull out - bikes don't register regardless of visibility. Do you think Police motorcyclists don't have cars pull out in front of them? Black helmet is fine - if you are relying on helmet colour to live I suggest you try a different mode of transport.
I got the medium. It was an absolute perfect fit for me but as i'm a relatively slight 40" build i'd agree with what others have said about the sizing being on the small side.
My Medium size one came through. Not a great fit for athletic build. Couldn't bend my arms much in it and the sleeves were a couple inches too long. The neck collar seemed a bit restricting as well. Guess i'll be returning it!
My £71 eBay one arrived this morning, in an Amazon box with Amazon labels. Great fit 2xl I’m 6’3” and 16stone
Seems to be same price on ebay atm. Anyone got a cheaper link for Xxl so I can price match please?
Ordered. Thanks for the post.
Ah headset, not headset. Here was me wondering how bearings had changed to electronic counterparts.
Great headset, not sure about the claimed 2km range though, me and my group get about 1km at best
We use the freecom duo. Brill for pillion
How does this compare to the Scala Rider?
Just got mine today Lovely helmet, can’t wait to give it a try :D
Infinity does have quite a few sizes left!
The white is still available in 2xl with sportsbikeshop if you have a fat head
still available here in multiple sized and matt black/gloss white https://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/product/shoei-qwest-matt-black
Heat added for comedic description. In all seriousness this is a good find and useful for keeping ICE Disks in.
I've put ICE details in mine. Just in case.
Voted HOT just because I can (highfive)
Heat just for comedy value
Mr Sweeney, your excellent humour is lost by so many ;). Love the wry suggestions!
Should be good for my swim to work
Should be good for my cycle to work
Good deal op however I have the one you linked to here and it' spot on although the sun visor does fog up which annoys me, probably the same for all though that.
This looks like exceptional value for a great lid... Even FC Moto are nowhere near this price... Heat added.
Five stars Sharp helmet safety rating https://sharp.dft.gov.uk/testsratings/agv-veloce-gt
Yes they are. very good safety spec and highly rated by me. I have this helmet and its a beauty. light, quiet and looks pretty sweet. this is a good price; if i you had £180 to spend on a helmet, its a good buy. only thing missing for me is an internal sun visor. i was looking at this as an alternative https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/197397
Are these road legal? Advertised as 'race' helmet and no mention of ECE spec.
Admittedly I don't think boom sound will work with my skidlid so I certainly don't plan on using that :')
At that price I would also suggest the Uclear HBC 100 PLUS, where you can get a set of two for ~190 at amazon. Have been using them for about a year now and I'm very impressed. Initial pairing is more complicated than it should be (you can find a video on youtube) and after a few seconds of silence the devices will go into standby, which can cut the first syllable of whatever the other person says when it wakes up, but apart from that it's amazing. Range is excellent, sound quality is good and as a bonus it is a lot smaller than most other intercoms. Oh, and the microphones (plural) are integrated into the speakers, so no annoying boom to take care of.
Great headset and very good range. My only concern would be the jog wheel sometimes gets stuck and becomes a bit wonkey. Maybe its because you are constantly using it with bike gloves and are a bit more heavy handed. Other than than mine is constantly part of my riding setup and would not be without it.
i'm currently rocking a headset and on the longer rides it's just a nuisance. May have to drop hints to the Misses about this deal. :p My argument is for her being a pillion keeping in comms (_;)
I have this, got it from Amazon for a little cheaper than this on a daily deal. Works really well and couldn't do without it now I'v had it!
I bought the Kiso jacket from sportsbikeshop (who are an excellent online shop) last year, on the same deal, with a free pair of Dojo trousers. The jacket has been great for the price, waterproof, warm and comfy. The trousers were very poor though. Even in light rain, they leaked badly at the crotch. Leg was also too short. On the plus side they were warm. I wouldn't bother with the deal for the free trousers, not if you want to stay dry.
anyone use devitt for their bike insurance? this sports bike shop give you an extra 10% off if you do!
unfortunately guys I won't be able to tell you how well the products last during a ride as first off the shoulder and elbow armour for me might as well not be there as they are quite thin; and secondly even with the correct waist and chest size the jacket and jeans are too long for me (I'm 5ft 9).
the free trousers are usually £50, hotukdeals kept auto changing to sports direct :(
Heat added, which would never have happened if it was a sports direct deal!
these are great, except they can go a bit duff if moisture gets in the circuits.
These are awesome. particularly if you dont have a faired bike. Wish I had a set on mine. Just a heads up, they are a massive ballache to fit - better left to someone who knows what they are doing
Back in stock - great price !
Cold because the deal doesn't exist! Oos
why cold? it is oos now but price was great?
Must have only had a couple left.
Pray tell what Marc's agenda is? I assume you are referring to the fact that he is interfering with a championship? Marc is fighting for his own position in the championship and entitled to fight back when overtaken, otherwise why bother going racing? Just take the remaining riders off the grid and let Jorge and vale fight it out, or better still start them at 1st and 2nd on the grid and give them a 30 second head start! Sounds stupid doesn't it?! Vale is starting to struggle with the number of other riders capable of winning races. I didn't notice him push iannone or pedrosa off their bikes when they fought back with him recently. Vale is one of the greatest of that there is no doubt and I am a true fan of his but Marc will surpass anything vale has done. I also partly agree with the comments on the Honda by ktm666 - Honda haven't been on form but pedrosa is a brilliant rider who has unfortunately missed out on many championships because of being plagued by injury. With Marc winning titles however Dani is an excellent second choice development rider and capable of finishing second in a championship. His 'comeback' ride where he fought it out with vale was the best ride of any rider this year.
The difference in Rossi vs Stoner at Leguna and Rossi vs Marquez here is night and day and you have to see the bigger picture than just the snippet. Rossi guilty of a stupid reaction move on Marquez no argument there... and it's cost him the championship. Marquez was also being a bit of an annoying p**t with an agenda, there's no denying that. Anyway, wouldn't wear a Marquez lid if they paid me but then nor would I wear a Rossi one if it was really cheap :) This is from a Rossi fan since his early days.
He might, and I hope his does, but my gut tells me the only reason he is in with a shout this season is because the Honda hasn't been on form and pedrosa needs to be replaced
Vale was meant to be on his way out when new boy Lorenzo joined Yamaha. Vale will be winning next year IMHO. He may still win the championship this year.
I'm grateful for someone who sees a deal here! The helmet is superb and cheaper that a standard white or black version. Also if you look through the store, there are a few other heavily discounted helmets. As for the racing, it's turned into a circus. Ultimately, vale is the one who has unfortunately lost out at what I can see as his last shot at the championship.
Gonna have to get this, so cold riding in the winter!
Got it! Elephant ears!!!
LOL would explain it! X) Gloves with gauntlets really do keep you (or at least me) warmer. May not look cool or fashionable but stop that chilling wind entering your leathers at the wrists. Then again I've ridden with ...damn can't remember what they are called...big 'gloves' that fit over your switchgear and grips. Look ugerleeey but worth it if you have no heated gear and ride lengths in the winter. Many memories of being frozen and trying to get as much heat from the engine on my gloved hands as possible.
Probably thinks a 'real' biker is one who only gets it out when the sun is shining. Bet he Sandpapers his sliders as well.
God preserve us from 'real' bikers
hahaha fair comment and well played!!
Superb bit of kit although I do think it's over priced. I wonder though if these will be obsolete with the air bag jackets coming in now, reducing the void between shoulders and helmet to help with neck injuries. However over priced I think it is, it terms of a deal, this is a good one. Heat added.
Considering the number of whiplash claims it seems these are more likely needed to be compulsory in cars than bikes. Delicate bunch car drivers.
Comments above were pretty much the same in the 70's when it was proposed to make helmets compulsory. It happened and 10000's of injuries avoided and 1000's of lives saved. Maybe this is the way forward.
wow thanks for the expert opinion and full body armour will be compulsory in 15....
Pretty standard for flip front helmets. I use one in the winter, nice and quiet flip down sun visor is excellent especially in the winter. It is quite heavy tho compared to my other 2 helmets, not sure how weight compares to other front flip.
SHARP test result: http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/testsratings/mt-raptor Hot.
...and only 3 stars in sharp helmets test. cold
good price thank you
clCheers. Need a new helmet.
