I think it’s a great price. Hot from me.

1. I’m apparently one of the few who are happy to pay a fair price for the music I listen to;
2. I don’t want to create a new account all the time;
3. It’s a discount on 12 x £9.99.

Well you could get a Goji Stylus from Currys for £1.99 which came with a free code for 6 months of Spotify Premium. Get a couple of those and create new accounts each time, copying your playlists over, and you've got a whole year's worth of premium for less than a fiver.

100 GBP a year to listen to music ? Lol

I spend nearly every waking minute with music on and always discover new artists. Easily worth £100 for 12 months of that.
Good deal, I have been getting this for the past 2 years but it is going to get chilly, you know the hukd users ..

Mainly because of the Currys offer on at the moment where you can pick up 12 months of Spotify Premium for £3.98 ..

Don't you need to set up a new account for that though?

Do they normally do better offers than this? I've only ever seen 3 and 6 month free offers but that's always for new users, then it's always £9.99 pm. They don't normally do offers with current members do they? I know it's a lot still but saving £20 a years seems pretty good to me.
Was considering a sympathy hot vote for a minute, then voted cold anyway. Sorry, OP!

Yeah, it’s a good deal if you can’t be bothered to sign up with new accounts for the intro offers (like the 3month for new users or 6months when you buy a £2 stylus from Curry’s) but the HUKD hive mind don’t like it

Lol, oh dear. Do Spotify not pick up on that kinda thing if you keep making new accounts using the same home IP address? Before I got mine I tried to look into sharing a family account with friends but I found out that they track your IP address so it has to be within the same household. Thought they might pick up on new accounts every 3-6 months using the same IP address.

The T's & C's of the offer seem to be applied very randomly. A number of people, myself included, have bought styluses from Currys and received codes every time but then some people haven't.
I’m surprised too, but if you read other threads people seem to get away with it. Id have thought they’d be more likely to go after those who sign up to accounts in less developed countries and pay pennies a month. They don’t seem to enforce that either.

They don't track ip's . Just need to make sure all group members use the same matching street address in profile. I've had 2x family plans running for 3 years, many different IP's

That's because they've plugged that loophole. Some people signed up via Argentina a year or so ago and apparently are still only paying a few quid a month for Premium even now, but Spotify have fixed it. I think it's down to the payment method needing to be in the country you're trying to subscribe from, but don't quote me on that.

Either way, it's no longer possible to do the VPN signup trick for this. You can still sign up for YouTube via an Indian VPN no problem though.
Good deal - heat from me
This has been the case for well over 6 months. Not a deal

No. Very few people in the UK have a static IP address - most of our ISPs use dynamic addresses. It's perfectly possible for your IP address to change several times a day. Irrespective of that, you are perfectly able to use your subscription on a mobile device, your work computer, on a laptop connected to a hotspot.... all obviously with a different IP.

If they do they’re not doing a very good job. Had my family account for about 2 years with no such issues.

Yep, I started the 3 month free trial (paying with PayPal and cancelled straight away)

Once that's run I've got until 4th of October to activate my 6 month code from the stylus purchase. Create new acct with Gmail and copy across playlists via spot my backup.

Had to take drastic action as my ex missus finally cut me from her family account, beatch

With a family account, can you have multiple user accounts if you know what I mean? Like save different favourites, playlists etc. on the family plan?

I pay 14.99 a month for family plan just for me and the wife. Hate the waste of money but cannot figure out how to do a Turkey /Argentina trick. Anyone help?
For me £9.99 is nothing when you think about what you are getting. Unlimited music!! A cd would cost you more than that back in day!
Thanks Great deal. Have some heat!!!!!
