Some cracking games on sale by Square Enix, some aren't the best ports but most are certainly playable.

My picks would go to :

Chrono Trigger: Great port of an amazing game after the update

Final Fantasy Tactics: WotL :Again a great port, only issue is no cloud saves.

Dragon Quest V: Cracking JRPG, very pokemon esque with creatures to collect. But just an all around amazing story and good port.

Dragon Quest 8: Another amazing JRPG, the recent update apparently made it run much better on Android.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth: A game not many would have got the chance to play but certainly worth a go as it's an absolutely cracking game.

might buy CT just for the nostalgia value.
FFT is a very underrated game that’s actually quite replayable.
DQV pokemon-esque.. it was (allegedly) the inspiration for pokemon absolutely cracking game and the cg film on netflix is worth a watch too heat
Serious question do any of these games hold up/play well on mobiles?

I know but much easier to say it's similar to Pokemon than the other way around.

Wasnt a criticism, more expanding on the similarities

I think most JRPGs do as they don't require fast inputs. As mentioned Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest V and VIII all play well in my opinion. Most have mobile friendly features like auto saves added too.

The first 6 DQ's play extremely well on tablet, i preferred playing them on a fire 7 than on a DS lol. Cant say for sure with CT but if they're as well done as those then I'd say yeah. FF6's opera scene didnt translate well if I remember correctly though
Not on offer for me? Hopefully just a timing issue....
I don't see any of them on sale.
Yea, seem to be full price for me too.

Edit: I think they are just not marked up as on sale but I think the £4.99 for CT is the sale price. Says in the description it is 50% off.

Right, I think the "from £1.99" is just talking about DQ I then, and all the other games are way more expensive although cheaper than their regular prices.

Yea it is always the problem on a sale post when the cheapest item is the deal price.
Prices look normal to me... Maybe final fantasy III and IV are on sale?
Been meaning to pick up FFVI for a while. Thanks OP.
How does TWEWY play on mobile? I cannot finish it on 3ds.
Any recommendations on puzzle rpgs rather than battle dominated. Just finished octopath and XC2 if anyone can thanks

Didnt play DQ8 on mobile as i think it was lacking features compared to 3DS version such as voice acting, but the core gameplay definitely looked the part
