The Logitech Squeezebox radio plays Internet radio and digital music files over your home Wi-Fi network so you can tune in to thousands of free stations from all over the world. You’ll also be able to discover new music from online services such as Last.fm and Deezer, or listen to your personal digital music collection – all without wires.

The compact design lets you enjoy full, high-quality sound with very low distortion just about anywhere in your home. It's easy to get connected, browse free Internet radio stations and sign up for online music services. You can even attach your iPod directly. Either way, you'll be listening within minutes.

The colour screen displays album art, track and station information, visualisers, photo screen savers and more. Social networking support will let you share music recommendations right on the screen.

Accessory Pack: Experience ultimate convenience with the Logitech Squeezebox Accessory Pack featuring a rechargeable battery and infrared remote control.

Designed for use with the Logitech Squeezebox Radio Network Audio Player, this is one way for you to truly experience a wireless way to enjoy music from your Squeezebox Radio. The rechargeable battery allows you to place your Squeezebox Radio just about anywhere you want as long as you remain within the umbrella of a Wi-Fi network, regardless of whether you are at home or outside. The battery is capable of lasting up to six hours on the go and best of all, it will recharge when plugged in. Whenever you unplug, you will switch to battery power instantly and automatically without missing a literal beat, so there is no worries about your tunes skipping or losing connectivity because of the lack of juice.

The Squeezebox Radio Accessory Pack also contains a compact remote control, perfect for song flickers who enjoy relaxing to music without having to get up every time they want to change the vibe

Not according to the Nottingham store they don't. "Online only" they said.

it's a great bit of kit, keep an eye on Amazon, they drop them to £99 now and then

Really could do with the remote though and £45 for it with the battery is frankly ridiculous. oh well.

you used to be able to buy remotes by themselves from Logitech if that's all you need

I know the US site used to have them. This will work also....

play.com/Ele…rch

Alternatively, if you have an iPhone or Android you can control it from there

They had quite a few in store @ Cambridge (well one less now). Very good deal IMHO so have some heat

If you have a sound system in the room or some pc speakers the Joggler can be easily hacked to run as a Squeezebox Touch and only cost £50ish on the auctions site.

It does work but it's not 100% stable, sometimes the sound turns off and you need to restart the SqueezePlay app on the Joggler

Managed to get this in JL Cardiff today.
They know have 1 accessory pack left!

Thanks for the heads up on this. I phoned JL up during the week and to see if they had any in Welwyn. They had one which they put aside for me. Picked up this morning and listening to it now. Compliments my Boom very nicely.
