Ideal sensory toy.

Recommended to me by the occupational therapist.

Generally they retail for £2.50 (plus another £3 in pp) in the cheaper sensory/disability shops but it's £5.99 in amazon.co.uk.

Grab them while you can.

I found them in Poundworld, Hardshaw Centre, St Helens.

Well, since you ask, the OP does not mention stress relief although it can be used for that too. I described them as a sensory toy.

These balls I have seen recommended for people (mainly for children) with global developmental delays such as autism (and all conditions included in the autism spectrum), sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia, etc. These balls help these children overcome, better tolerate textures that they can either find repugnant or are obsessed with. Also, as you say, it helps them alleviate their anxieties in a small way.

Plus, it could also be used as fun way of physiotherapy. Hope this helped.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

Looks like a bad dose of piles.

I need a de-stresser lately
