Love St.Ives. Heat added.

Thanks.

No longer available for the 18th but it is available on 11th (3 nights) or the 14th/21st for 4 nights for £99 up to 6 people. Good find

St Ives is lovely ,but if it is the John fowler site then woodland setting means damp and dark but for £99 for up to six its a cheap way to spend time near an amazing coast.

Agree with this comment .. I pass this place daily and the wooden chalets look so damp and uninviting ... Seriously people do some research before booking this. I wouldn't take my son there however cheap because he's slightly asthmatic and the damp will affect his breathing ..

Sorry

I agree with both MarksI booked accomodation for my family and in-laws. … I agree with both MarksI booked accomodation for my family and in-laws. my father in law is a permanant wheelchair user so i checked with the site that their disabled accomodation would be suitable. I was told the bungalow was purpose built for disabled use. He could access the front door with help up the steps. The patio had an 18inch drop immediately after the patio window. we had to take the door off its hinges to get from living room to bedroom. the toilet / shower was not assessible. They had to return home. We had to go through trading standards to get our money back

Cay you confirm it is a John Fowler site?

its the only st ives holiday village on gooogle

don't want urinate on your chips so deleted comment

Brixham for me £125 4 nights and 5% quidco.

It is John Fowler, very bad Trip Advisor reviews but for £99 it's still not bad if you can put up with it. The location is actually several miles out of St Ives so you'd have to drive, catch a bus or train into St Ives itself. We always stay at St Ives Holiday Bay in Hayley, much nicer and on the beach.

Bit confused here, looking at the Trip Advisor reviews for this year more good than bad, 3x5 star, 4X4 star 1X3star, 1X2 star and 2X1 star reviews so far in 2014. is it really that bad there? thought it would make a nice cheap holidays break especially as it's school holidays,

I have this booked for may 19th. absolutely dreading it after reading herrendous reviews on trip advisor but they have new accommodation built so im hopeful... ish!

I worked on this site when I was a a student. It's cheap, damp, smelly and I wouldn't stay there if someone paid me!! There are lots of other places that mean you'll want to come back again and again. Don't waste your money, save up and book accommodation for next year instead (and somewhere else that's actually in st ives!!)

We stayed here last October, driving into the park we instantly thought about turning around however it was a lovely break, very cheap and cheerful, at the price you dont expect the ritz. It is dated and a little damp but you can make the chalets cosy and for the amount of time you spend in them its bareable as the town is in walking distance and lovely. I wouldnt dread your stay!

Thank you! Just booked! So they do still have availability atm! Did our research and weigh up the comments, but where else can you get a holiday for 3 nights for a family for £99? 5 adults thats £20 per head or less than £6.50 per night per person! Plan to be out and about exploring the area anyway, so as long as the accommodation is clean and basic that is fine. Looking forward to chilling with the family!
