Found 19th Nov 2013
A smooth, fruity, full-bodied ale, the perfect companion for Christmas savouries, sweets and snacks. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.

ABV: 7.0%

Haven't tried this one yet, but if it's anything like the other St Peters beers, will be a smasher! And works out at half price! Compared to other prices, makes this a hot hot deal:

how do we get the public to buy cheap beer worth no more than £1 a bottle for more????? I know let's put it up at £2.50 and then sell at 4 for £5 and see if they fall for it......

come on guys, since when was 1 bottle off 500 ml ale worth £2.50 a bottle.

This is the price it should be and not a deal IMO

Trouble is, that's the price they sell for nowadays... If you wanted decent quality beer cheap, then brew it yourself...

But, this isn't gonna be the likes of John Smiths, Boddingtons, Tetleys etc that cheap beer. This'll be decent quality ale...

Can't go wrong with Adnams, now that's a quality ale, £1.25 a bottle ordered from their own website with free delivery... Ghost ship is the best IMO

And where do you work that out then?

8 bottles of Ghost Ship are £12.49, which works out at at just over £1.56 a bottle:

    cellarandkitchen.adnams.co.uk/cat…asc

You need to order £50 worth of beer to get free deliver, otherwise it's £5.99 for the delivery:

    cellarandkitchen.adnams.co.uk/pag…ice

So, to get just 4 bottles of beer, assuming you split with a friend, is:

    (£12.49 + £5.99) / 2 = £9.24, which is £2.31 a bottle...

Not sure how you get the £1.25 a bottle direct from Adnams. Even if you lived close enough to buy a pack of 8, you'd still need to pay £1.56 a bottle... So still more than in this offer... Although, you could buy Adnams Bitter or Broadside at £1.25 from Tesco currently ;):
