Nothing wrong with my Stadia whatsoever. 4K pin sharp, no lag, very decent controller with headphone socket, 2 decent games per month included in subscription for which I pay the price of takeaway and beer (or less). What's not to like?
I think i'll stick to the 50 free games I get on Project Xcloud beta
Hahahahaha, the embarrassment increases.
Oh dear.

Wow, a 6 year old Tomb Raider game? Stadia, you need to stop with the generosity, you'll be out of business if you keep this up
samurai shodown is awesome, wish it was free on better platforms

Games with Gold is competative at last - no longer bottom of the freebie table

I would be pretty miffed if I got Stadia last week and bought Farming Simulator full price, only for it to be free next week. I'm beginning to think Google created Stadia to make Microsoft look good
Do you keep them if you cancel the sub?

To be fair to GWG, Gamespass is getting a good whack of great games (for now), so I can understand why GWG has taken a hit to make Gamespass look more appealing. PS+ has good months and plenty of bad, but now PS Now is starting to get a bit more enticing, expect to see the PS+ lineup take a hit.

In a few years we'll look back fondly to when Gamespass had a great lineup, as all these game subscription services come out of the gate with a great lineup, then start to fall apart when they already have a huge subscriber count.

Nice! Great games! I was expecting Elders Scroll or another RPG and a sport game, but looks like EA is out of the question... Maybe Ubisoft could offer Assassin's Creed or Project Cars...

No, but they will be available when you come back
Thanks OP! There’s a lot of hate for Stadia, but I’m happy to support it. A lot of issues for sure, but the concept is great and I’ve enjoyed playing it so far! Will be great to have Tomb Raider too, which is still a great game (albeit old). Heat

And who is going back?

I jest, however that type of service is not for me. I like to have a piece of hardware on display, and with xCloud I get the best of both worlds.

I do hope Stadia succeeds, but it will be a good fews at least, too many variables.
Got to love what google said recently, they said nothing is wrong with stadia any problems is because its the developers faults, ah jeez
Remember that member who posted the Stadia founders edition then got all condescending telling people who said it would be rubbish that they knew nothing and as an expert in these sort of things it will be amazing and he had ordered it already...

The console might be a joke but once they perfect this tech it’ll be a game changer
It's junk. Who could have predicted.

I don't understand the hate tbh, if you don't like it don't support it. It wont be for everyone but why be so offended by it?

For me it's fantastic, i travel with work often so will be able to game on the laptop.

My money's on xCloud and Geforce Now (im in the beta, pretty good)

They really should have spent the money and given a top game. They're in need of good PR

I struggle to use the terms "farming" and "free" in the same sentence.

To be fair, most of the concern around cloud gaming is latency and responsiveness and how it can cope with fluctuating connections.

Nearly all reviews praised this aspect of Stadia.

They clearly have nailed that core principle.

The issue that people are belittling it over is image quality and the performance (settings) of the games running on the hardware.

They kind of dropped themselves in it by talking up it's power.

Well that and paying full price for years old games you can get on steam or CDkeys for a couple of quid
I've saw many old games on ps+ and gwg without the console owner complain about its "free" games. But give it time and all the haters love having a big library of games

The best thing about stadia when it comes with "free" games is that people like myself can jump striaght into trying the game without the need to download or uninstall games just to test it. Usually games I added in the past just stays in a library unplayed because I dont want to uninstall, hence why I cancelled my ps+ subscription. To me ps+ was only purchased for cloud saving and now xbox does it free, stadia is free and switch does it half the price

Hahahahaha! Play old games with gender neutral trash controllers.

What has gender got to do with controllers?

Oh and just to kill your dream, you can use a different controller from a different system if you wish.

Give it a chance to exist for a period of time and it will find its economy.

Google went with gender neutral colours for some reason, they look rubbish, don't get triggered fanboy yes I'm aware of using other controllers but it's not connected by wifi so even more input lag.

Which game is 4k? Because not all games are being upscaled to 4k, rdr2 being one and destiny 2 is 1080p, I think tomeraider is 4k.

Go try xCloud.....Google as to step up, both on performance and in this case on the offers.

Wow fanboy? What is the age requirement to join this site again?

I was just wondering what you were talking about and letting you know you can actually use other controllers.

Stadia will never be my main system. Thats my PC where i have an i5 9400 and an rtx 2070 super powering my games.

Stadia will be handy for travelling with work.
£119, 1 controller, 1 chrome cast ultra, two free 3 month pro subscription, and at least 4 free games for each accounts.
This is a good deal...

Apologies for my fanboy comment, google designed some gender neutral colours so not to offend some crazy feminist or gender nutjob and reports suggest they was trying to cover it up, they could have given us a strong blue, red, green, not that wasabi sh*t stain, I actually like the technology behind streaming games but stadia has been a nightmare launch, xcloud looks promising.
The lag on Stadia on my 72mbps connection isn't great when playing D2, just bearable, when travelling I'll use it, but I'll obviously be on my Xbox at home. My money is still on XCloud currently, but I'll be happy to be wrong, competition improves the industry as a whole in the end anyway.
I have been impressed with the actual gameplay experience of Stadia thus far.

Think it's more a paid beta than a full launch though.

In terms of the controller, it's pretty good other than the triggers which I wish had some more resistance (also wish I could have chosen colour with Founders, prefer the look of wasabi one compared to the blue I got).
Nvidia geforce now is better. Especially if you own a crapton of PC games.
I thought it would be cheap, quick and easy picking up a 3 month buddy pass for Stadia as it seemed like no one was really interested in it. Wow, was I wrong. The subreddit is littered with posts begging for codes, eBay users are selling them for £50-100 (which is insane considering buying the Premier Edition Stadia is only £119 which includes 3 months of Stadia Pro). Looks like I will be just paying for a month of Pro next year to test it out.

Haha I got excited thinking you were going to give it to me then. Yeah, go for it. Google have said it's against the terms to sell it but I doubt much will be done about it.
