well atleast if u shop at tesco u get something back be it vouchers etc
you dont get nothing back with Asda and now theyve put in self scanning tills ( not the quick self scan for a few items) but basically git rid of the checkout staff do it yourself style
next theyl b handing out brooms fir shoppers to sweep n shop or shop, sweep n go
waste if my time because most people are soooo slow!!!

You are having a laugh right? oO

I'd rather have them self scan long tills with conveyor belts on because some times I am in a rush to complete my shopping and I don't want the hassle of having to communicate with an Asda worker who works at their own pace. And before you say the issue of "Item removed from bagging area" that is not an issue when you know how to use the tills properly (by removing the bags when the till shows green lights rather than red). Also from what I've seen in my local the pointless unused tills (the ones that are tiny and have only space for a basket and a worker to just squeeze in) were closed to make space for the slef scan long ones.

Also Tesco pricing is terrible considering the quality you get. It's almost like they're forcing themselves into the higher priced market of Waitrose/M&S without actually matching the better quality of Waitrose/M&S. Asda doesn't need to "give you something back" because they aren't taking more money off of you in the first place like Tesco are doing. I for one am glad Tesco cocked up on the financial figures.

Asda is so poor in every way, quality of food is rank.

picked one up today in tesco Pontardawe Swansea. excellent value.

Wow that's so good I bought these for £4 recently!

Great deal, unfortunately £6.50 in my local tesco.

Asda sell good quality goods as well as lower priced and lower quality goods.
Their fresh produce is good ,their ground coffee range excellent and a good range of drinkable wines so your comment that quality is rank seems to me to be unfair but as with all comments on here they are personal views so accepted as such.
I will continue to use Asda along with Lidl Aldi Sainsburys and Morrisons depending on my needs.

Still full price in my local Tesco Maryhill extra
