Not sure what the score is with the pan but it doesn't work on induction hob so it is maybe not fully stainless steel.

There are various make ups of stainless steel, if a magnet will stick to the bottom of the pan it should work on an induction stove, if not it won’t work.

Still £12 in store.
Great deal, thanks op.

Bought ours from Wilko for around £10, but currently on website for £11.

Strangely the first one turned black from inside, so wasn't exactly stainless steel, but wilko exchanged it; and we've now had the replacement for 2/3 years, which has been great, even on our electric induction hob.

Bought one last year but took it back as the bottom pan was very shallow
Thanks for posting we have added this to the Highlights section
I've always avoided ones with metal handles because the handles an old one I had got red hot while steaming anything. I've not seen one with plastic handles in ages. How well do these "heat resistant" handles work?

Use oven gloves or simply a towel to hold the handle.

Well yeah, but why force people to do that when you can just have plastic handles like saucepans that don't get hot. Baffling design decision.
