Always preferred the natural look myself. Recently(ish) single again in my 40s and confused at how few women have real eyebrows nowadays!
Taken from their terms and conditions prob best not to try this as you could lose £50

**If you order a physical Revolut Metal card and subsequently cancel your Metal membership within the first 14 days of upgrading your Revolut account, we will charge you £50 (or currency equivalent) for your use of the Metal Services during that time.

Gotta admit they look nice, but not sure I can justify £12 on looks alone.

Same here. Also not sure the above process will work successfully. What if they cancel the whole account! And £11.99 for delivery?
The process works. £11.99 for delivery is a bit steep, but much better than 12.99 a month

Apart from looks, what's the difference between this and the standard physical card you get?
If only I could see any advantage in a metal card over a plastic one!

None. If you cancel the plan.... If u decide to keep the plan there's a few benefits, non of which are useful to me though

I must be confused, I thought the people behind this had been busted for running an unlicensed operation.

I was certain I read about it a month or so ago; however it might have been a similar deluxe metal card scheme.

Any other Private Eye reads with better memories??

A quick google found this

"Revolut Controversy
In March 2019, Revolut has been in the news' spotlight for a lot of the wrong reasons, including allegations of using improper anti-money laundering rules and systems in 2018, a complaint to Action Fraud regarding a missing £70k payment and a report highlighting toxic work culture at the young startup by Wired."

From their own Q&As "Your money is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme."

Yeah, some dodginess going on. Shame as I much prefer their app to others, especially the split bill feature. I usually travel with a revolut and a monzo, I also have a starling which I should probably investigate as I've never used it.

Hadn’t seen this but had noticed in March they started to hit social media ( twitter ) hard with some self promotion. I personally stopped using them when some transfers from PayPal required chasing or suffering major delays in hitting my bank account. Had also experienced two fraudulent/strange transactions which turned out to be errors with their payment processor apparently.

My understanding is that when you upgrade to metal you have full access to their metal tier services available, part of which is having a metal card. As such even ordering and using metal card would mean you have used the metal services.

Well if one suffers from all those then they don't deserve to complain about your date trying to cover up imperfections.

Your comment is a bit too detailed...Not everyone has a pet name like yours my commiserations

Once you reach a 7 digit current account balance, even a Rupert Murdoch physique becomes a sex magnet, so your refutation doesnt work.

Nice try tho.

I only use mine to link it to different apps eg Caffè Nero, mcds etc and only top up what I'm going to spend.

I recall an old joke in (I think) Playboy, back in the late 80s (I read the articles as well).

The girl was looking at the huge rock on her finger and saying, "Darling, with a diamond this big, my whole body becomes an erogenous zone."

After checking I found this "If you are on the Monthly plan, you have the option for early termination any time within the first 10 months for a break fee of £14 on Revolut Premium or £26 on Revolut Metal" so would seem if you cancel it after the 14 days then it would be £26

a bargain compared to the $4k my friends metal Amex Centurion cost him :-)
After actively defending Revolut I must nail my opinion to the mast. While it's operational use is good and easy to use when things go wrong, they go wrong. I have just tried over the past few months to get a charge back from a seller that sent me a lesser product than what he advertised and photo evidenced as something more than he sent. Over the process whilst customer service had improved over earlier days the service provided was not good. I had to provide evidence which I did and this was given to the seller who just provided a receipt of proof of my purchase and Revolut said the seller had provided sufficient proof of selling as advertised. I was sent this by text to my app at some point but was not alerted to this text to contest and was told when I did find out that the 48 days I had to wait for me to find out the next stage had passed and virtually tough luck. All the time this was ongoing I had to keep checking up with Revolut customer non care, they never seemed to come back to me, but I get loads of emails telling me how I can earn bonuses by signing up new customers.
