lovely light how does the light shine out though we need to get a new outside light only 1 left in my local store dont know whether to go for it hoping it might be easy to fit, hubbie not too good at diy

hi everyone

does anyone know if this is mains or battery powered

thanks

i would think mains operated to be honest

What a strange design ( no wonder the price has been reduced so much)
What is the point of a light that shines in two opposite directions !!

Its definately mains powered as it uses two 35w bulbs ( GU10 spotlight bulbs)

Hi from customer reviews on argos looks like it is easy to install, pic is sideways though:)

Yes, these are as much for decorative than practical use. Orientated vertically they throw a shaft of light against the wall to good effect if placed at intervals across the front of your property for example..

we got these a few years ago at the same price and they look fantastic, my hubby fitted them on our gate pillars, the light up shows up the numbers and the down shows the buzzer, he changed the bulbs to leds, which has worked great and bit cheaper to run

gonna pick up some more now and he can do outback round the deck and patio, help light up the steps a bit better

what a great idea to change the bulbs - can you tell me where you got the led ones from? Thanks so much:)

orde€red a set originally from screwfix but they were an awful lot more expensive than the ones

I bought 2 of these a few days after xmas at this price. I can confirm they are mains powered and easy to fit (providing you're no stranger to wiring lights)

The lights are powerful enough but they're range is limited hence more for decoration than anything else.

I would definately recommend these. Currently looking to hook them up to a wireless switch for remote operation but they're design feels solid, the lights are easy enough to change (the bottom and top cylinder just unscrew) and has a seal between to prevent water entering the light.

Thanks for that . Will keep looking. Amazon and eBay have both got the led ones but they are so expensive e.g. £30 for 5 :w00t:
Enjoyed the 'weird' typing, hehe, as long as she enjoys herself!!

Thanks again for your help.

3 left in Bilston, otherwise none around Wolves. Good if you can get em.

Good if you can find them - none Manchester, Stockport

Cheap price if you can get them anywhere!

Agree there good price just cannot buy from anywhere
