A must see
My favourite film, Heat added just for that
Good movie, book was better - wasn't it one of four stories in a novel of Stephen King's ? Been so long since I read it. Kind of sure all four stories were made into movies. Have to check
Edit: Yeah. Different Seasons. Also had Shawshank Redemption and Apt Pupil. One a huge hit, Apt Pupil much much less so. The Breathing Method, the fourth wasn't to my knowledge

Great film, must watch.
One of my all time favourites, the story of childhood friendship being quite poignant for most adults.

Noooooo. Never known a book to be more entertaining than the movie. Reading is overrated.

EH????????????????????? I take it you don't read books at all, then
The first two Godfathers were nearly as good because they followed the book much closer than usual

I am just bantering. Never seen a kids' movie surpass the feelings you got when reading a particular book. Not read much as adult but I do enjoy a good filum

Wouldn't call this a kids movie there is a dead body in it, remember. Dora the explorer or Power Rangers are kids movies. Although Power Rangers is more for the severely mentally challenged, Dora is for toddlers - requiring a little more IQ than P.R.

I never said this was. I meant in general. Like Hansel and Gretel. Or those ladybird books. Would be rubbish as films.
Chopper, sick balls.

Hey - they've started doing films like Jack the Giant Killer and Snow White as serious films recently - showing just how laughable the executives running Hollywood are. They still lecture the rest of us of how we should think when there clearly isn't much in the way of original thought or idea anywhere in Hollywood !
If carlsberg did movies this is probably the best film ever made!
