Stand Up Chicken Roaster £7.49 Argos

Found 2nd Mar
Unique concept that roasts the chicken from the inside and outside. Results in a delicious, succulent, crispy taste. Also roasts the chicken more quickly than a traditional roasting pan. The chicken is evenly roasted 360 degrees; like a rotisserie chicken – no white chicken underneath. Juices collect in the base for basting accompanying vegetables.

Roasting tin features:
Size L35, W35, D13cm.
Easy clean.
Oven safe up to 240°C.

Doesn`t this take up a lot more room in the oven though? Heat for the deal though

If I'm having chicken I want it smothered in juices and fat not hung to dry.

Shouldn't it be more bald than that?

If you want something like this, I can’t recommend the Weber Deluxe Poultry Roaster enough: weber.com/GB/…tml

Been using a similar version of this for about a year, it cooks a medium chicken in 1 hour 15 mins, I spray a little olive oil on it or rub a flavour mix in. Nice crispy skin but doesn't dry it out at all, and you can get the meat from the underside without it being covered in slimy jelly
For anyone thinking about it just go for it and give it a try

It's a pity that these are so big (35cm dia.) as they would have worked well in a desktop halogen oven.
Any ideas if this would fit a weber BBQ?

You got to remember the chicken is upright so you need a good depth too

I could have used a spare extender ring from a previous one but as this pan won't fit in the glass bowl it's a moot point.

Of course not. That's where the bathtub goes.

I got a basic one from tesco last year it was mentioned for Bbq's but I use in oven, that was a lot smaller it was only 3 quid, so look out for a smaller one
