My wife and I were looking to go to the cinema yesterday as my mother offered to baby sit. Seeing as we could not take advantage of the Orange Wednesdays promotion I decided to see if there were any current vouchers etc and came across the following online.
Considering the cost of a cinema ticket is now close to £8.00 I thought this was a good deal, hope this helps somebody!

A standby VUE cinema voucher gets you in to see the latest movies at any of 14 VUE cinemas in and around London, subject to availability. Buy a standby VUE cinema voucher and enjoy the choice, comfort and the latest cinema technology that VUE offers for just £4.25
Step one: Buy a £4.25 voucher for a given day and a cinema of your choice (max. two per transaction). Please note you are only able to book tickets up till 4pm on your chosen day.
Step two: Go to your chosen VUE cinema on your chosen day AT ANY TIME FROM 12.00 noon.
Step three: Submit your confirmation email at the VUE box office and choose any film with available seats for that day.

Yeah, it does matter! It's a pretty good deal for Londoners but what about the rest of the population?!
Does it mean the movie has to start before 4pm? or it could be any movie till late but the booking must be done by 4pm?

That's hardly a fair comparison.
I do have a Vue cinema local to me so how is that a fair comparison. Besides, free and cheap are not the same. I'm not gonna get into an argument with anyone about it. I thought it was a s**t deal so I voted it cold. We are all entitled to our own opinions afterall.
last time i was in a vue cinema it was a mess, the air conditioning was broken and the food was over priced. Safe to say, i wont be going back
