Yes, presume they just want to suck us into buying more given the prices of the add-on product, smart marketing strategy on their part, not so much for us as buyers ofcourse.

That's what attracted me to the deal, the absence of a rotating part/gear that is likely to break. Heat from me, but I'm not expecting much from the quality of the supplied bits, time will tell. Thanks for posting, OP.

I've got to many of these, I bought them last time they was down to this price, I work in IT so for a toolkit these are brilliant, the bits are fine for hand tool usage, ive also used them in a Ryobi pistol electric screwdriver and they stand up well to that also, absolute bargain really, only downside is the screwdriver goes into the middle of the bit holder into a metal peg, sometime that falls out but other than that its a steal.

Thanks for the warning. Having just collected one of the screwdrivers from B&Q, I see the potential problem. I feel a small modification coming on . . . drill a 2mm hole through the plastic body into the metal 'peg', and use a self tapping screw with a small mudguard washer under its head to secure the peg in place. (Some people have just too much time on their hands, like me. LOL.)
