Anyone know if you can tweak this to accept a dewalt battery?
I know it's Bare, but you really should state it in the title.

No, you would have to cut off some plastic tongs on the dewalt battery to make it fit, but it wouldn't lock in in place, so then your battery also would lock into place in your dewalt tools.

The picture shows it's bare, the description says it's bare, and to be honest, if you think it comes with a battery and charger at this price then you haven't a clue anyway
Hey whatever. I've looked at hundreds of these deals on here, literally, and I know my tools, but I also know how many people complain that it doesn't come with a battery, even when it does state its bare. Its standard industry denomination now, and standard in here for most posts for bare tools. That's all I'm saying.

Thanks chap, was just wondering as they’re essentially the same as the dewalt version but a third of the price!
how long a charge are you likely to get on a cordless sander? seems a bit pointless to me.

Depends on size of battery, material you are sanding and how charged your battery is

The stanley, dewalt and black and decker tools are all owend by the stanley black and decker company. The drills and batteries are as you say essentially all the same, they just change the connection mounts on the batteries so they are not inter changeable
