Decent deal, remember these are rebadged Dewalts, as it's all part of the Stanley, Black & Decker brolly. I think they come with a 2 or 3 year warranty too, so remember to register the warranty!
Thanks
very very limited availability. none in Southampton. 1 in Portsmouth

It'd be a good deal if they were, but they're not. A lot of the hand tools are all the same, just different branding, but the FM range of power tools are different. Cheaper components and from their marketing, definitely aimed at the DIY market.

I'm not saying they're bad, just that they aren't simply rebadged DeWalts so don't expect the same quality. Saying that, all our stuff is Makita

Just picked a pair up from Bredbury they currently have 10 left. There was an empty box on a shelf near the customer service desk. I showed it to the lady on customer services and she went in the back to get one. I've already got the hammer drill but wanted an impact driver too. I've found the drill is excellent and the charge lasts ages. These have 2 x 1.3Ah batteries where my original drill has 2 x 2.0Ah batteries. The charger with these looks a better model. The batteries are interchangeable so I'll not be short of battery power with four batteries between the 3 drill/drivers. The bare impact driver is £78 at B&Q so I was happy to pay a little extra for this kit. They come with three years warranty when you register them so I think its well worth the money.
