just found this on argos a good quality half priced stanley 750W hammer drill at 40.99£.
anyone got this hummer can advise as please it looks like good hammer at good price.

Amazing how the same company can have the same drill on at half price .....at a different price ......DODGY RRPS AT THEIR BEST.
Would never advise using a hammer on a Hummer unless your a panel beater?
can this be used as a screw driver as the description says?
Bought from Homebase for £50 a couple of weeks ago.

Seems like a good drill and also has 3 years warranty.

It can be but they're a bit brutal (too much snatch with the motor even with variable speed) you're best getting a battery drill better control/torque for putting screws in personally I never use my percussion drill anymore too much noise, never go anywhere and burn your drills out before they make a hole SDS far superior coupled with a good battery drill/driver

Choose the Bosch its SDS its far superior as another above has mentioned, it rotates slower with a more powerful hammer action maybe less watts power but don't be fooled by that
