I use these for all sorts. Not just DIY. Cycling, fishing, camping, on the beach, kite flying etc.

They're grade F – 45 meters per second small object impact rating and optically I find them good enough for cycling and fishing but as I know nothing about the regulations I cannot recommend them for driving on the queen's highway!

At this price they're damn near disposable so if scratched or lost it's no big deal.

There's smoked for bright days (99.9% UV protection, indoor/outdoor that are cool for overcast / dawn / dusk (and have a nifty, almost mirrored look to them) and clear ones that are brilliant for cycling in the rain!

Who needs flash, expensive brand name specs?

Here's the blurb from the site... although I just tend to drop into a Screwfix when passing and grab a couple of pairs as they've invariably got them in stock.

Lightweight, comfortable frameless safety glasses with polycarbonate smoke lens for impact resistance. Soft rubber nosepiece and rubber-tipped temples for secure fit.

Do sound decent. Won't be for everyone due to functional vs stylish design.

Anybody have these and can say if they will fit over glasses? They seem to be wide enough so maybe... Really struggling to find a pair that will fit over.

No. I don't think so.

you'll want something like these bollé safety overspecs.

I was using these on a site and gaffa was going mental for not wearing safety specs until I explained and showed him what they were then he asks where I got them from and asked me to get him some Pmsl

Heat, ordered. Already have the clear ones. Coolest looking safety glasses i've seen!

Have you seen the dewalt Fire reinforcer?

hmm.. only 99.9% protection from UV rays.... not sure I'll take the risk on that 0.1%

I like these - picked up two pairs today and they seem better than the Bollé ones I have been using for cycling at more than twice the money.
