I've got this and it's a very handy little tool box. Strong and big enough for all your everyday hand tools. It has a lift out tray on the top for the likkle wikkle ones.

Does the clip open easily? Read some reviews saying it can catch on things and open accidentally.
I have a two clip version, can't seem to find it anywhere - perhaps they changed the design.

I got this for like £2 at Halfords and despite a fair number of tools, almost nothing would fit in because it's too small. Or ones that did were better organised with their brethren in a larger box.

I found the latch annoying too, you sort of lift it up and then down before opening and it always caught me off guard.
I have this, bought on a Halfords hukd deal.

If you need a toolbox for small items (screws, wall sockets etc.) then it’s worth getting, but if you already have a reliable setup then it’s not necessarily needed.

You will definately need other bigger storage components if you do much diy. You wouldn’t be able to fit your drill into this for example...

Bought this the last time it was this price, it sounded pretty big but when it came i was really disappointed, it’s like a children’s play tool box.
Not sure if it is worth mentioning but I have a similar Stanley box.

The lid attaches with clip-on plastic hinges, that is to say they have no through pin; said hinges have flared and so the top separates from the box every time it is opened.
I got a couple cheaper (think about half this price) from Halfords a couple of years ago, it's handy for plumbing tools it even just squeezes the tap wrench in. But can't fit a hammer in which is a shame. But it's a handy box and at least can keep a couple to separate out spanners and screwdrivers etc or little bits (I'd recommend the Stanley organisor for little bits like blubbing connectors and screws/bolts etc

Not quite hot price, but does the job and relatively cheap

Have you thought of enrolling on a latch awareness course? It can save a heap of embarrassment in the long run.

Had this for 2 plus years now to store all my computer related tools. I brought it at this price back then (same offer) & even with regular use the box remains in good condition and the singular clip is as good as day one. Can't grumble with it!
