The young lad has one of these and I`ve got to be honest when i first saw it i thought "plastic rubbish" but to be fair he`s used it for a whilst mainly just for keeping tools in and he`s got it loaded. Guessed the handle would snap when lifted but nope it`s survived. I`ve used it as a step a few times as well (don`t do this at home) and the thing is still fine. So decent enough for a tenner.

Thanks, Op! Good strong box, and secure sturdy clips. Got one last year, and still going strong, despite being drasgged around different sites! Might get another at this price, delivered!!
Nice lunchbox
I ordered this last time it came up here from Amazon, but it never arrived. Amazon told me it was 'damaged in transit', although when I checked the route, it basically ended up in Ireland somewhere. Maybe this time, I'll order two, to be sure.
Got this last week. Its good for price. Same price in B&Q.
Ordered, out of stock though but not in a hurry for it. Heat

Did the same myself was tempted to buy 2 for free delivery but it’s £45.51 for the double pack....there’s apparently 5 of them in stock lol

Well done there's a gold star. Or is it their's? Or do I even need an apostrophe? Maybe you can correct me again. Many thanks.
Is this one IP rated? I've had a waterproof one for a while and it's been fantastic

They make these near where I work, 90% of the workforce are polish or Latvian. They work hard though.

Has been for hours, like most things on Amazon they can be ordered and come in a few days
Thanks- purchased!
Had mine a good few years now & can report its very fragile & breaks easily. I've almost doubled its weight in duct tape repairs. Yellow flaps have both broken at the hinges (almost within a week) which are just plastic pegs in a hole, it's cracked and warped and the metal clasps are a nightmare. They feel like your fingers are about to rip off pulling them & plastic around that area flexes, then all of a sudden it flings unlatched. In reverse it noisily slams closed. I only use it rarely & look after my kit & now store lighter bits I don't use often in it so I don't feel completely ripped off. Stanley made decent metal ones when I was a kid but the plastic ones aren't upto the hype now. I've other size boxes (small 12" up to the 26" fatmax) with similar flimsy issues so not just bad luck. Fatmax is my best but a huge, expensive & heavy beast.
Knackered mine in about 5 minutes - hopeless thing it was.
Thanks OP

Great story...
I got one for same (normal) price from B&Q. It does the job but it's irritating to use, the latches never line up first time and the tray falls into the box. Also if you overload at all it just won't close. Wish I'd bought a better product!
I am sure ZR Traders, who are selling two for £44.36 + £2.99 shipping, love competing alongside Amazon at £10 each

Mummy is going to be so proud.

No I haven't, I'll add it to my basket though. No prime here so I need to get up to £20 before checking out.
This Stanley is just behind the other hukd Stan Lee
Wanted this for my lad and have seen it for £10 elsewhere but a pain to get hold of. Having it for this price off Amazon much better. Cheers OP
Temporarily OOS now but can still be ordered
