Got one a couple of years ago load of crap spent more time filling the holes in my plaster boards that were supposed to be joists
One never knows when one might need a stud sensor thing - so I have voted hot
Thing goes off the scale around me.

Tried a couple of these stud sensors and found unreliable, keep going back to using small magnets, more reliable and just as quick
