Description
Designed with a breathable mesh back and fabric seat, the Staples® Crusader ergonomic office chair is ideal for any office.
This office chair has style and comfort in mind making it an ideal option for computer use of up to 8 hours per day. The mesh back material promotes better air circulation to feel warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It is adjustable in seat height, tilt tension, arm rests, and has tilt lock both in upright and recline positions. The triple paddle seat plate mechanism is lockable in any position and facilitates a graduated increase to the back angle relative to the seat. This means the chair can lean back further with less incline to the seat, so feet are kept firmly on the ground. The chair has adjustable features to help you sit in an ergonomic position by promoting good posture and improving productivity. The chair casters are best used on floors with carpets, or hardwood with a chair mat.
Adjustable features: Seat height, tilt tension, arm rests

A fantastic chair if you are 12.

My god, there's a lot of snooty people here. You're all boasting about chairs that retail at £600 up to a grand on a deal for a £50 chair and others like it..

Rather spend extra on a second-hand Herman Miller.

Best used I found on fleabay was 5X the price of this. I tried the herman miller chairs, but was not really impressed by them, especially for the proce they ask for them.

Heat, as I paid over £100 earlier this year. Comfy, solid made chair!

I'll probably grab one of these. I own a Herman miller and imo it doesn't get much better. Whilst sitting in one for a moment you might not be wowed (though I was), sit in one for an entire day and you'll soon see the benefit.

Heat great find op

Is this the best value for money from their selection? I'd like something that forces a good posture by making it difficult to slouch.

You can slouch on this.
If you want to sort your back out get one of those chairs without a "back". Not exactly comfortable but they work if you sit on them as directed.

This chair is ok, feels better than it is when you first get it. For all its gimmicky ergonomic marketing, it doesn't really work.

Snooty, or just prefer properly designed quality?

This deal is fine for a home chair that might be used 1-2 hours a day, but if you sit in an office chair for 10 hours a day you need the best you can afford. A proper chair makes a world of difference on your health and your back.

But hey, why bother with engineered quality when you can save a bit of money and buy cheap tat.

I'm thinking of buying this one instead at £37.76 (after applying both codes). It's a steal and seems to have better reviews too.

I tried a Herman Miller in JL and was instantly amazed. As a gamer who spends long periods at their PC I really really want one, but them prices! I think even coughing up 300 for a second hand Aeron is still excessive!

Thank you OP, oredered one, heat added

Strange how I didn't think of doing that because "it's a chair" but give the same reasoning to friends who skimp on buying a decent TV! For things you use that often it's worth it I guess, and in this case keeping your back intact is pretty important!

If you sit in a chair for 10 hours a day you need have a lot more to worry about than just your back. If you're concerned about your health you should be standing anyway and that's even cheaper than the tat.

Not much choice if you work in an office. I'm a developer and self employed so I have to sit and bang out code all day long. Standing up doing that all day isn't feasible so the best seat you can buy is the only option. That and mixing it with regular breaks, plenty of walking and cycling etc.
