Bet you can't find the box after 2 - 5 years.....or the receipt.................or even the chair X)
Good price but don't expect it to last very long. The leather starts to peels away from its backing after a very short period of time leaving it looking old and ugly. This is my chair after ten months. I tried to return the chair but I did not keep my receipt.

Thanks Rick, just changed it.

Np, i just hit Delete instead of edit
IMHO bonded leather is worse than plastic. My bonded leather dining chairs lasted 18 months with moderate use..
These are terribly uncomfortable. The lumbar support pushes out in to your back way too much, and there's no way to adjust it.

Get what you pay for.
A huge 8% TCB as well. That 5 year warranty forced my hand, thanks for posting.
Where does it say you get a 5 year warranty?

Thanks for 15% Staples own brand code. You just save me almost 30 quid. I bought it last week when it was 99.50 with -10 over 50 spend! Got it already and its good chair for money. Then price drop by 10 quid, and further 15% now! I ask staples to price match but they want me to send this one back and get new one in price of 61.61 so I'm returning mine tomorrow and already placed order for new one - also arriving tomorrow - what an absurd...
5 years confirmed, on website spec and on box as well. You buy online so save your digital receipt... And even if last to years - its just £61....
Fantastic find, 2 chairs bought ,
Damn! Just paid £80 other day for this.
be prepared to throw away this chsir after few years, bonded leather WILL peel off and will look ugly. Or use some cushion to protect seat and dont touch arm rests at slk...
Unless you've got scaly arms, clawed hands, and an abrasive backside, I really don't see how you can destroy a leather chair so quickly, bonded or not...
Thanks, heat added. If it goes dodgy after 5 years, at that price I'd say fair enough....
I've had this chair (well, everything looks the same except the arm structure) for ~8 years and it has been perfect.

Only now starting to show some wear, but plenty of life left in it - would recommend.
bargain, got one for the office! thanks!

More like in a few months. The bonded leather on the arms will peal off. Best to get plastic armrests.
Thanks ordered for my daughter got to be better than most £50 ebay so called gaming chairs
I'm sat in this very chair at the moment. I think I paid around £120 going on 4 years ago now. It's survived being dismantled numerous times. The padding has seen better days and definitely hasn't withstood the test of time. It's not what I would call comfortable anymore. The material doesn't look too bad, considering.

For £61, it's worth a punt. Especially with the warranty. It was much more comfortable when I first acquired it.
I don't believe anyone "actually" knows what "bonded leather" is
My chair from staples sat in after 9 months, staples offered to collect it and refund fully, they send a plastic cover no box needed. Just keep the invoice when ur chair arrives.
Another nice chair worth considering is this one:

Staples Foroni Task Chair

It's 51p cheaper than this one but only has a 3 year warranty - it should also work with the same code stacking.

Don't forget that 8% TCB!

Great price, just ordered one for my mum
Thanks.
Plastic "leather"
Yeah it's trash polyurethane leather - can anyone link to a genuine leather chair that's not absurdly expensive?

Will keep the receipt for this one.
I've got a chair that looks similar to this (different arm structure too), purchased from Staples in 2013 it only started to peel on the seat recently and it wasn't too bad. Oddly though mine didn't come with a 5 year guarantee and its not a Staples chair, its a true innovations chair (the company that makes Lazy Boy chairs).

I got in touch with them and they unexpectedly after asking me the model of chair and a few other details sent me a replacement seat, they didn't even ask for proof of purchase and it's out of warranty. Very comfy chair and I paid much more for mine, only thing I was mad about was that they didn't say it was bonded leather they used another term.

I think it was £259.99 when I bought mine but I asked if the manager could knock the price down so paid £200ish.

Still I'm happy with mine and at this price I'd buy another.
but prob is for the 5 years,is staples online going under to as is no high street shops now they all office outlet now,so if need to return how do you?
Do yourself a favour and take the £60 and put it towards a used ergonomic taskmaster chair if you want to sit in this for 8+ hrs a day. Find them in great condition on ebay from office clearance outlets quite often.

Introductory models available around £180:
Steelcase Leap
Humanscale Freedom

I have the leap and it's amazing, these chairs move with the body which is way more sensible if you actually think about it for 5 seconds.

You are right, I'm just packaging this chair up for returning, bought it over the weekend with the 15% off code but it arrived with a broken part, although this was repairable with glue, but after putting it together I found the seating area to be extremely small due to your back being pushed towards the front, my previous chair fits your backside and your legs this one just about fits your backside and you feel as though your falling off the front, totally useless for anyone over 5ft 11in in my opinion, I couldn't believe how uncomfortable it was when I first sat down on it.
All I say is, go and sit in these chairs first.
I was going to buy this seat but when I sat in it, it had no back support at all for me.
I tried all 22 chairs there and ended up with staples.co.uk/exe…m=0

This has a 5 year warranty, if it goes after 2 years, free new chair

That's if Staples exists...

Surely everyone here is clever enough to know bonded leather is poop poop. Not hot at all, just average price this.
This is for my 8 year old daughter to play computer games like ark survival and minecraft so I'm sure it will be good enough for her

That's not leather, that's fake plastic leather. Bonded leather merely means that the edges of the plastic PVC are held together with leather strips which you can't even see. It's supposed to add flexibility to joins but has nothing to do with what you can actually see

Bonded leather, also called reconstituted leather or blended leather, is a term used for a manufactured upholstery material which contains animal hide. It is made as a layered structure of a fiber or paper backer, a pulp made from shredded leather, and a polyurethane coating which is embossed with a leather-like texture. Related products, bicast leather or coated leather, are made by splitting, shaving, or grinding leather to reduce its thickness, and then laminating it.
