Yeah, I changed the title to reflect that:thumbsup:

Deals valid until 05/01/09. Did you take it to the checkout to get a price check?

Good deal! Found the drives in stock in store.

It certainly worked here, and I am tempted to get another one. The Shelf Edge Label was inconspicuous, but correct.

Bought one from the Shrewsbury store yesterday evening, and they had an incorrect price label showing the previous price of 78.28. At the till it scanned at 69.97.

The hard drive that was supplied inside mine is a Western Digital drive model no: WD10 EAVS-00D7B0. It seems this model is intended for OEMs to use in media centres and external drives etc, and is not as well spec'ed as the Seagate a previous poster was provided with - mine only has an 8Mb cache.

The casing is easy to dismantle - just remove two small philips screws. I am using the WD drive in my PC right now and am very satisfied with it; a smaller drive that it is to replace is in the external case to be used from time to time.

All in all, I'm happy with this purchase so have voted it hot. Thanks!
