Bonded leather, so probably 99% plastic then.

No to bonded leather. Therefore Cold.

Can you suggest a better deal then?

This chair is spot on.

I did however, pay £87ish for it with a 30% off code but doesn't work with this 20% code.

It is rarely at full price too lol

For that price you're not really going to get complete leather are you?

Office chairs are one of the hardest things to get hot here. Cheap ones go cold because they are bad for you/fall apart/fake leather and the more expensive ones go cold because "who pays that for a chair"... there's no middle ground, or at least I've yet to discover it. I guess this one isn't doing too bad though... It got heat at least but as you see... people are voting cold because it's not fully leather!

I've had a few visits to Staples over the past few weeks on the lookout for chairs, this one isn't there but I've given them all a try out... although it doesn't exactly help that the display ones have clearly been there a while and aren't exactly in the best knick... but I guess at least that will show how long they'll last! The state of some is almost funny, arms falling off, tilt mechanisms bust, gas canisters bust!

Their <£150 mesh chairs all have something wrong... whether it's thin seat padding, the metal frame digging into your spine, back heavy so sitting back and you're likely to go flying, the adjustable head rest (what I ideally need) just about reaching the base of my head at full extension! (I'm 6ft 1)

The most comfortable by far was the Kashmir Microfibre Manager's Chair, but if there's one thing I've learnt it's super soft cushions on office chairs do not stay super soft for long. After around 6 months you'll be sitting on hard wood or using a cushion and on the lookout for a replacement. What you want to look for is ones with a sort of memory foam padding, sure it's a bit hard, but it'll adjust to your ass and retain it's shape when you get off. It'll last for years basically.

The absolute best deal if you can find it is this one I posted the other week. Basically it doesn't have a fake RRP like lots the sale ones at Staples! You literally do get a £200 ergonomic type chair - the back isn't wood, it's a metal frame with padding/fabric over it, a solid chrome base that none of their <£200 operator chairs have from what I can see, thick seat padding that will last, tilt lock, adjustable lumbar support... but you need to be a shorter person (<5ft 10 at the most) to use it properly. I had to return mine because there was a ~5 inch gap between the front of the seat and my calves. My coccyx pain stopped but then my legs started aching after using it for an hour so it was a bit pointless really.

But yes, I think that's the main problem with cheaper (<£200) office chairs, and not just at Staples but everywhere... it seems they are designed for shorter people... you only have to look at the chair in this deal to see that head/neck support would more than likely be pushing into the back of anyone over 5ft 10!

Sorry, I've babbled on but just trying to share a little of what I've learnt the past few weeks. My search for a chair continues!

I think this is good for the price... I've decided to give it a try. In comparison to the crap amazon sell for abound the same price.. I'll be happy with this as a PC chair.

Thanks very much OP

Plus they'll collect for free and refund it if you decide you don't like it within 30 days... something you won't get from most other places without having to spend a ton sending a whole chair via courier!

Fingers crossed it's decent

Well i never said anything abt real leather. Imho a good quality fabric seat is better than artifical "leather". Thats just my 0.002$. If you see value in this chair, good luck to you.
