I would be interested in this information as well. Can't get any payment through.
Is it simply a case of changing store to Mexican and then back again once purchased? Seems a nice way of saving few pounds if can pay!

You have to change the console region to Mexico and then just switch it back once the purchase has started. It's simple enough to do, I did it a few months back to use the Russian store to download Sonic Mania for about half the price.

You can't do it if you have money in the eshop account though. Can't remember if it straight up stops you from doing so or if you just lose any unused credit when you change region.
I'm tempted, but already own this on steam, don't really see a need for it twice. Heat for the price though!
Damnit I just bought this for 10.99 on the store -.-

Not that I'm aware of.
Ok, just to clarify, has anyone actually managed to buy from the Mexico store lately? It worked fine for my first couple of purchases but when I tried revolut to grab some games in the winter sale it simply wouldn't let me add my details. If anyone succeeds, let us know.

Really? Yikes! I've got £20 in my account from the PayPal deal before Christmas so technically already saved a fiver but didn't really want to pay more than a tenner for this. Guess I'll have to though if what you say is true - or use it on other items before getting this. Is there no way round this?

When I go to system settings and choose Region I only see four options - Japan, The Americas, Europe and Oz/NZ. I chose The Americas and it made me accept a EULA and restart the console, but then I don't see anything to choose Mexico. When I go into the eShop I still see £ prices as usual

Nope. I tried PayPal, uk debit card, and my revolute virual MasterCard. None of them worked.

Just use a Revolut card, that way you don't lose anything.

Slightly off topic. I have never used revolut. The question I have is do you exchange your money on your revolut to the currency you require i.e. USD and then buy the item from the estores or do you just keep it as pounds and let it convert into the relevant currency automatically?

As I suspected thanks for confirming. Shame though, mexico had some great deals.
There's no payment method that works on the Mexican store so this deal should be expired unless anyone has a method that works?
Discussed the last time this came up...

PayPay won't work and if using a credit card, try to use one that has no conversion fees:

You top up in pounds with your credit/debit card and then it auto-converts on purchase to whatever currency youre buying in. Doesn't charge a transaction fee and charges you the current/fluctuating exchange rate (potentially more on weekend)

You can add up to 8 accounts to Switch, so you can open up a Nintendo account in another country (I would definitely suggest South African they have great prices on a lot of games) you just then add that account to your Switch and when you open the eshop it will ask you which profile to use which will then take you to the desired store. That way you won't lose your UK currency and can take advantage of the other stores
if you want mexico news on your news feed buy it. I had to reset my switch (kept game saves to get rid of Japanese news appearing) will wait for uk sale.
I tried multiple payment methods, but wasn't able to purchase it from the Mexican eShop. I ended up paying £9+ a few odd pennies from the Norwegian store instead.

Enter the Gungeon is about £4.50 from the Russian eShop - bargain!
@crazygoldfish do you know if it is actually possible for UK residents to purchase from Mexican eShop ?
What payment method did you use? My International Amex or Mastercard won't work
Ah sorry folks I will make the deal expire
Tried a vpn and still no joy
Had to really force myself to play this on PC, I quit a few times early. But it gets really good if you give it an hour.
