How so - 10 blu-rays at £11.50 each seems OK to me?

Look's like it comes in great packaging.

These are the remastered special edition versions so hopefully they will be even better picture than the recent 1-6 blu ray releases and the motion picture will be the extended cut.

Aren't they just the same versions repackaged into a box set? All the single BD releases were remastered versions to begin with and only released very recently and it would be a bit odd to remaster them again only a couple of months later.

Not possible I'm afraid. The new (2001) special effects were done in SD. To produce a BD release of the Director's Cut would involve redoing the effects in HD resolution and reinserting them into the film. It could be done, but the sales would not justify the cost.

This is probably a good price for the box-set today, but I'd rather wait a year or two until the price is a bit more reasonable.
