Star Trek Bridge Crew PSVR £39.99 @ Base.com

This is the cheapest price I could find for the PSVR Star Trek game. Preview reviews for this look good but reviewers have only seemed to have played a few levels so far.

Don't forget quidco as well.

Thanks op. Nice to see this discounted - probably the killer PSVR app for some ;-)

you can hang out with other people, locked in the room all game? how can this cost that much? I'm so afraid to spend my money on something that's not gonna give me proper story and VR experience. There's way too many demos at the moment that you have to pay for and they last for 30min.

I think you can play as a one player if you want. I think though the point is for it to be a multiplayer game so you immerse yourself in it and act like a member of the crew from the show.

I get what you are saying about short games and paying for demos rather than full games. Batman VR was also short but I thought it was great and I'm enjoying playing it.

I don't think we know yet how long the game is but I have heard there will be several missions in the game and not just one or two. The website says you explore a new area called the trench where there are anomalies and the Klingons are also active in the area. That suggests it will be more than just a demo I hope.

As a long time fan of the show although I'm disappointed it's only the new films and not TNG or the original series this is one of the games that sold VR for me. I'm looking forward to giving it a go

Just saw on the official website that in addition to the storyline there is a mission generator mode which randomly puts you in different missions for hours of solo or co-op play.

They announced a delay in Feb that it won't be out until May to get it right and have also announced that there will be an option to play as the original Enterprise in the missions section of the game. A bit rubbish but I'd rather see a good game come out later than a poor game sooner which needs to be patched constantly.
