In this first instalment of the Star Trek spin-off, Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks), commander of the starship Deep Space Nine, discovers the first known stable wormhole--a virtual shortcut through space that leads from the Alpha Quadrant to the Gamma Quadrant on the other side of the galaxy. The Gamma Quadrant is governed by the Dominion, a group led by the Changelings--a group of shape shifters which counts DS9 crew member Odo (Rene Auberjonois) as one of its own. The Dominion has become a violent force in the galaxy, and the Deep Space Nine and its crew is the only hope of upholding the way of life established by the Federation. This collection includes all nineteen episodes from the first series.

Nice one, ordered Been meaning to watch all of these in a row.

H+R added, nice find DS9 was a great show, though one little edit to your post andywedge, "Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks), commander of the Space Station Deep Space Nine"

hot hot hot awesome show

OK, but not in the same class as Next Gen, let alone the original.
Still a light years better than the Godawful Voyager, which was the pits.
Enterprise was decent enough TBF, but Voyager....Jeebers.

Really?? Personal taste and I love TNG but DS9 beats it much better consistancy in the storylines, less duff episodes and a bit more realistic with it being more gritty and less shiny, it's all good tho

Should have replaced one of the TNG movies with a DS9 one though especially as B+B basically killed Trek with the latter TNG movies and Enterprise (which I liked it was much better after Manny Coto took over should have had another season but...)

Awesome find, have some H&R

must have missed it. Showing a £15.85 through the link

First season a little weak compared to the next 6. Best episode in Season 1 is 'Duet' - amazing.
