Must disrespectfully dissagree, Enterprise killed the franchise!

to be fair it needed a break.... I preferred enterprise to voyager anyway.
Certainly didnt kill the francise

Certainly did...

most definitely did.

and anyone that prefers enterprise to voyager is quite clearly insane and needs locking up.

The one that killed it is definately that Deep Space Nine thing they made, total boredom.

Enterprise was quite good and had the best looking vulcan ever.

Agreed that DS9 was pants. Personally I quite liked both Voyager & Enterprise.

As a long time watcher but seldom purchaser, does anyone have any advice on how to get all 7 TNG seasons for a reasonable price? I.e. this price per season would be good ;-)

For 1 season that's an awesome price....but added together for all 7, it seems a lot. More in fact than the 20th Anniversary complete 49 disc box set (which goes for around £120).

heh see this is where you guys are wrong, i like DS9, i think its better than Voyager, TNG FTW tho

Deep Space Nine was the best one. It had a continous running plot thus allowing for deeper story lines and greater character developement. Voyager and TNG are great for watching individual episodes. Enterprise is just complete garbage.

Oh come on :w00t: I can't sit still for that. DS9 was destined to have the same old episodic format as the majority of TV at the time, that is until (the fabulous) Babylon 5 came along. B5 was meant to run for 5 seasons, no more, no less. Running throughout the series was a story arc that built up to something spectacular (in season 4 when they thought they we going to be cancelled). Season 5 was a it like they morning after the party, clearing up and everyone leaving for home. After B5 though the world and his wife had to have a story arc running though it.

In my opinion DS9 was where the rot set in. Trek appealed to the explorer in us. Having a Balinese family in your living room is never going to be as exciting as actually going to Bali. Besides which the religious aspect was a turn off. Speaking of which, was there anyone who actually liked the Kira character.

Not that I've ever seen these series myself, just guessing :whistling:
