Not everyone will like this, posting on the back of another post etc, however it may benefit some people.

Buy a PSN card from electronic First (link below). Redeem via PSN and purchase Battlefront 2 using £24.99 of credit. Total cost of game £20.98....not too shabby. Personally I'm waiting for the price to come down even further.

It's a good deal but the game is so bad it's best avoided. The space battles are the only redeeming feature. The first one is way better.
I forgot this game existed to be fair
I'll bit at £10. Less than a month until the micro-transactions return!
Seriously avoid just based on the micro transactions issue - if you buy this will be deemed as acceptable and the practice will continue.

This is a turning point in gaming where before mt were to get ahead if you wanted and now its become mandatory to purchase to get ahead.

May the force be with you.

I do wonder if all the people boycotting this game have boycotted every game with micro-transactions before or even after the Reddit sh*tshow...

Cheaper still with the G2A credit - heat from me
down vote because EA

Hey I’m not complaining. They should be applauded for being one of the few fan bases that won’t put up with this crap.

It's right... long overdue in fact.
My point is that people seem to single this game out and then conveniently forget their principles for other cash-grab games because that would involve thinking for themselves.
If you buy digital you can't trade in when you realise what you've done

MT should be optional and not forced upon you to complete/proceed in the game. Others havent introduced it as a handcuff or deliberately strangling the games progress if you dont purchase - thats not acceptable

It's never forced on you... it's just shortcutting.
Many games from EA and other publishers employ these tactics... this being one of the worst of course.
Im reluctant to buy this considering how low the original game bombed in price. What was a £70 game quickly dropped to £7 if Im not mistaken. I paid for the season pass only to see if given away free not long later
It's the lowest price at the moment. I had £30 PSN credit and this turned up, so I immediately topped up another £20 and got Monster Hunter instead lols
Great game, highly recommend.
Good game that was improved today with the latest patch. Season 2 coming soon that’s included in the price. Loot boxes still aren’t available to purchase in the store, progression is slow but ultimately the upgrades don’t make a real difference.
Er, this is basically just the deal for the £25 credit :)..
