Ridiculous downvoting. If you don't like it don't buy it but it's the cheapest it's been for people after it"

still alot to pay for a free to play model, or pay to unlock content, of paywall block, whatever you want to call it.
I'm not going to get battlefront unless they fix it or make it free with it's current model
Yikes, it takes a brave man to post a Battlefront II deal, regardless of price. It's the new No Man's Sky
Con job game just like fifa every year both massively overpriced

Why I'm more likely just to wait for it to come to EA access.
How is £35 a good deal? Thats just a little less then RRP

As long as EA doesn't make profit from direct sales then a difference will eventually be made.

Micro transactions and pay walls to get heroes etc you will need to play for hundreds of hours or spend a lot more money than you spent on the game, this also has the effect of unbalance the game as some could pay money for better equipment etc for there characters and be better than those who spend time and effort leveling characters ed.

Cheapest around atm for a copy. Have some heat.
Heat - cheapest around. Ea are in a flap over the hate the loot chest/ pay to win. Campaign is ok ish. Remember this is a deal site not a review site..and this is the current best deal
This game is done. Literally just let it die now

It doesn't work that way, it is a deal site but price is not the only factor that people should take into consideration, if some thing is truly awful or a broking mess etc or something like this, just because is cheaper it's still not a good deal, you wouldn't buy a car that could only go 30 mph or would brake down after a month or so, people need to realise there is more to a deal than price. Its this sort of mentality that allows EA etc to do stuff like this.

I actually like the game...and loot boxes were taken out before it hit the shelves. (they were only available during early access). I get why folk are mad...but it's actually an alright game. Also, if this is the cheapest it can be found then heat to OP.

I really enjoyed the single player campaign, was pleased they included one this time around.

Good to see they have a few other titles at £35 too.
Heat added OP, thanks!

Loot boxes are still there. It was the ability to buy them with real cash that was removed.

That said, heat added as it’s the best price for those that want it.

RRP for new games on PS4 these days is typically between £49.99 and £59.99. So this is more than just a little less and currently over £10 less than Amazon.

Out of interest how long did you play the multiplayer before you decided it was a broken mess - truthfully? I'm about 4 hrs in on the EA access trial and its not too shabby - yes you get whacked by op heroes but still pretty solid multi - I believe the pay to win is now been taken out e.g real cash for loot boxes.

I agree there is more to a deal than price but that should be the readers choice. Not sure why you've got the hate on Alfa Romeo cars though

Very good game. I'm addicted to it. Some of the Galactic Assault maps are class.

£35 is a good price for game out less than a month ago IMO. Especially as mentioned above RRP for new games is between 49.99 to 59.99

Have some heat!
People voting because of loot boxes and not the price. Probably same people who voted hot on Godzilla. Loot boxes are in most games now, get over it and stop trying to ruin the chances of people grabbing a deal that they want by making things cold because you want to troll another post.

Have you actually played it tho or are you just doing what the Internet says?

I picked up the game 2nd hand (sticking it to the man!) and it's actually a very entertaining star wars game.

It's a bit of a grind to unlock the best guns and progression is completely random. BUT they've stopped paid loot boxes and improved the credit reward system so it actually rewards better performers.

People need to stop doing what the Internet tells them and think for themselves. But mostly just vote on the deal, save your opinions for the comments or even reddit with the other keyboard warriors.
Heat added, cheapest around at mo.
FTR, 10 hour trial available on Xbox, son still has 9 hours left, that's how poor it is.
Just been to Morrisons in Swadlincote, none on the shelves but plenty in stock if you ask. £35 is a great price; they had COD WW2 as well at the same price.
Guaranteed this will be sub £20 come Boxing Day.
Heat My son wants it for Xmas and this is probably the cheapest it will be before christmas
They only temporarily removed the loot boxes methinks: latest financial news due to a dip in EA profits:

Electronic Arts will reinstitute in-game purchases in its Star Wars Battlefront II title despite recent wavering by one of its top executives, according to a Wall Street firm.

This goes slightly against what EAs chief financial officer said when he mentioned they may never come back.

From my POV, I would expect EA to bring them back after they sell a load after the film/Christmas, as people will be locked in by that point, they are a business after all!

Beyond this, think everyone is well aware that there are progression issues even without the microtransaction elements.
